What is the build feature for? Like were you can save and edit builds, what's it for?

They're called "Load outs".
What they do is save your current gear equipments (helmet, armor, weapon, and shield) and make it faster for switching.
For example you "Save" your current equipped gear, you take them off, and you click that saved slot you just did, it equips everything you were wearing when you saved it.
Test it out and experiment :)
