Was waiting for them to put it on sale, and I almost missed it when they did. Downloading it now bc the free version was so great.

Gamespot has like 15 apps on sale. I got assaaaains creed, hero of sparta 2, and the settlers.

I had hos2 and creed from the last time they went on sale. Bought PoP this time around, and this is the first time spiderman has gone on sale, as far as I know.

I tried the lite version of PoP, and I didn't really enjoy.
What about Iron Man 2? Is that any good?

Iron man 2 is fun, so is avatar. Got them both on sale other times. Gameloft's main flaw is usually the camera, and the unfortunate angle you het when you're trying to jump platforms.
I love avatar, but it gets frustrating sometimes bc of that. Buy it, though. It's an otherwise well-made game. There's even a free roam level where you get to ride one of those 6-legged creatures, and it's done amazingly well. Sadly, you can't go back and play levels once you beat them :(

It is fun to fly around and shoot things (you can fly whenever you what), and there are some lvls that have puzzles and/or timers. Not a perfect game, but you'll get your 99 cents worth. And you can replay levels if you so desire.

Haven't quit, but other games are keeping me occupied right now. So not playing PL at the moment.

I really think the PL staff and the DD staff should sit down and shoot ideas off each other. They both have great, but flawed, games. PL has the mmo part down. Multiplayer is seamless, with chat, secure trade, etc. But their customization and item/gold system is lacking, as once you have the best gear there's nothing to strive for.
DD has a great item system, bc it seems no two drops are exactly the same. Even if you had two items with the same name, the stats are different. And you can invest money into an item in the forge and customize the stats to your liking. Stats also do a he'll of a lot more than in PL, so more thought must go into it, and people aren't all copies of each other. They also have pets coming in the next patch. But they lack a decent multiplayer system, no in-game communication, and no secure trade. And no servers. Everything's saved on your phone.

Seriously if these two teams joined forces, we'd have the PERFECT mobile mmo!!!

If its still on sale, also get the settlers. Its sorta like C&C, but with more depth.

I was disapointed with hero of sparta 2, and ultimate mortal kombat though.

well if you like RTS games, try the settlers or C&C

assassains credd is awesome, if you havent gotten that.
also ive only played the lite version of both of these (waiting to go on sale) but blades of fury and star battalion were both very fun, at least on the lite version.

Assassin's creed is good, but when other games went on sale, like hos2, I abandoned it lol. And I almost finished hos2 but decided I was playing too much in such a short time and took a long break. So I have a bunch of gameloft games to finish up. Haven't even started PoP, wondering if I ever will. I just couldn't pass up on the sale price.

the combat and enviorment was dull and boring for me. Just moving a v-stick around doesnt do it for me. I thought that the conbat and enviorment were both very repetitive.

On the other hand, I am loving assassains creed. The combat isnt too much better, but at least the enviorments are fun to explore.
I guess its just opinions.
spiderman is also a blast, i love the destructible enviorments.
btw are you still having trouble with rhino escaping? if so i can tell you how to do it.

Yep, I gave up on rhino after a few tries cuz it was pissig me off. How do you catch up with him? I got stuck right before the hostage, bc I couldn't jump up to that platform.

just skip all the enemies (rush past them) and jump along the poles as fast as possible. If you fall, just get back up and try again, but dont stop to kill enemies or free hostages. Once you get to the cutscene with the cops shooting at rhino, then you dont have to worry about him escaping anymore.

the battle with him is pretty hard, I finished with about 15 or 20 percent health.

I think I know what you're talking about... If we're talking about the same thing, you have to do a web jump.

All jumps I do create a web, but for some reason I couldn't get up there. I dunno, illntry again when I have more patience.

hmm on mine just a simple jump did the trick, not even with a web. just make sure you have the v-stick forward when you jump, because there's no grabbing onto ledges.

Ok I caught up with rhino, but now I'm fighting him and it's not going so well. He's not easy to dkdge, bc he stops charging when I dodge him. Grrr.

Btw, I love that you can customize the layout of he controls, anywhere on the screen! I think all games should have that option.
