They didn't get rid of skill swapping. They removed skill swapping a skill in cool down.
Players can, and will, continue to skill swap by having proper timing. Give it a week and complaint threads will come flying that a warrior hacked the game because they skill swapped.
This is true I was hoping most people didn't notice this. But based on the description its still feasible to do some skill swapping. It will work best going from the shortest cool down to the longer cool down. So for example mage can swap ice to heal. Ice has a 3 second cool down, so if you start your swapping once the skill has like 1 second left. You can arrive by the time it allows you to swap your skill. Go back is a problem but may not be necessary. I'll have to see how the UI implements this to see how much I can take advantage of it.

My current skill swap rotation has me swap with 0 secs left on the VB cool down. All this does is prevent me from casting VB right before casting HoR (and then, of course, swapping).
I can see how swapping skills during cool down is considered cheating. However, skill swapping alone isn't cheating. I'm sacrificing one skill for another. It has benefits (jugg self heal) and losses (less damage output).

Sounds great :) better survivability will benefit mages a lot.
An armor buff will also make the bulwark more impressive in PvE. It will be especially helpful since most warriors spam basic.

That sounds MUCH better than the mana regen.
BTW, something similar to this INSTEAD of shadowflare on the Kershal would be much appreciated by all Kershal owners. The charged attack on the Kershal, even though it's now much faster, is still rather useless as it gives even less damage than a non-charged attack, and the procs are pretty worthless.

I realize that. This is perfectly fine, just as it is perfectly fine to swap pets.
But both of these things were being abused to avoid the cool down. If you swap skills to avoid cool down, then basically you are using more than 4 skills at the same time. And if you swap pets to avoid cool down, then you are basically using more than one pet at the same time. This is what needed to be fixed.
Once a skill is cooled down, then by all means feel free to swap it with another one. It no longer gives nearly the advantage that it did before. I'm sure it can still be useful in certain situations, but it will probably no longer be something most players will do during the heat of battle.

I was speaking more generally than specifically towards you. I remember several players advocating skill maps be entirely locked after you enter a map.
I am glad to see we agree on both this and the proc carapace suggested.

I doubt STS will release a client update right before a weekend. It would be a fiasco if there was a notable glitch that players had ample time to take advantage of.

Another point I forgot to raise is the difference in base stats between the lvl 36 mythic daggers and lvl 41 bow
Daggers - 170.9 dps, 53 DEX, 25 STR, 16 INT, 4.12% CRIT
Bow - 150.4 dps, 54 DEX, 29 INT
We gain only 1 DEX and 13 INT and lose 25 str and 4.12% CRIT. Additionally health and crit are propably the most important factors for a rouges stats ( other than dps which I have no complaints with for the bow) and I find it hard to believe that the lvl 36 mythic would be better than the lvl 41 one in both these factors.
Its because rogue mythic weapons got the most overall stats in the past. Just save some point from int and put it on str.

i wish there was more dps for warrior considering that its a mythic and the best we have is claymore of assault 101 wish it was 98 or more then it would be the best mythic armor so far i can think of.. 84 is good considering the lvl 31 dps .. and also dmg a bit more ..

We received an artificial damage boost in season 4. Every warrior's damage was scaled up and armor down when they entered PvP. There was also an HoR nerf.
STS purposely made warriors more powerful, gear didn't make us OP. I still don't believe we are OP. In clashes a warrior is lucky to land 5 kills.

Thats your opinion, but mine comes from bieng on the receiving end of mauls and glaives for a few seasons now. Those weapons made them hit way too hard imo and many others.
Tank class shouldnt hit harder than a damage class mage. With the pierce proc of glaive and mauls scary proc warriors have been doing just that.
I think a tank class should have tanky weapons and damage classes should have more damaging weapons. Which is what we are getting in the new mythics. I for one am actually excited for this, I havent had much interest in the game lately until I saw the new weapons and 2hat they did for each class

I never said "op" and I understand why you want higher damage. I have mythic mage rogue and warrior. They hit like grandmas in earlier seasons. But now its to the point that imo they do a but too much damage for their class

rogues have a skill that gives OP 10% crit and lower armor by 10% in a single shot, and the crit stacks. And then that super high damage skill has chance to do 250% damage. Warrior has that? Yes sorc's lightning can also do 250% damage, but what else we have on that skill? a laughable 25% chance to stun in just 3 sec while fireball can always stun 5 sec, or a useless 25% chance to do low damage AOE on kill?

The New Mythic Gun and New Pets are awesome. I hope I can buy those with Plats. I dont mind to buy Plats from Google Play. And this is the ONLY way STS make real world money on us. So my guess is they will sell with Plats. Hope my guess is Right.

This is quite annoying, not everyone has a spare 10 million, and removing those achievements makes it so it's impossible to get enough ap to get too of the leaderboards! And people will now go crazy trading and selling and buying accounts with the old titles, not, good -_-

Those APs are now removed and total amount is reduced as well.

Um, it is suppose to go up not down, the glitch is because it shows the passive skill damage...? Before update my damage was 522dmg now it's 548, and if you buy an elixir it shows also on your stats, I bought a damage elixir and went up to 617 I think I dunno

I agree, this new gun will obviously have considerably higher damage than the Kershal. The proc looks way better than the kershal. This gun gives 20% of damage returned as mana, where my Kershal has a "chance" to give +10 mana regen for 8 seconds (80 mana added). Then there is the root proc compared to a Kershal's small chance on charged attack to slow by 30%.
Only benefit of the Kershal is it will give 156 more health, but I don't see that as enough of a difference to keep the Kershal as the best sorcerer weapon. Maybe for PvE it will be best because of it's AoE normal attack, but for PvP the gun will be the weapon of choice.
Only way to change that is to totally change the way the Kershal procs work. I suggest scrapping everything about the Kershal's proc except the +60 INT. Then add some kind of stun and/or armor reduction proc. The proc would be the same for both charged and non-charged. The advantage of charging would be that it aims towards the enemy like a fireball, and the charged one should produce slightly more damage (not less) like every other weapon in the game. The procs would be the same both charged and non-charged.
Anything less than that and we can expect the Kershal to be finished after one season. :(
I really do like the new mythic weapons, but just as the Arcane Maul was the best warrior weapon even after the mythic glaive/bonesaw were released, the kershal should continue to be the best sorcerer weapon even after these level 41 mythic weapons are released.
Dont cry lol the weapon arcane for rouge is lvl 26 and I never saw one rouge cry for bow mythic lvl 41.

Arcane is better than myth. So why is MYTHIC DAGGERS LVL 36 only Less 1 dex to the new MYTHIC bow lvl 41 while ARCANE HOOKS LVL 26 has 2 less dex to MYTHIC BOW LVL 31?.
Both pairs i compared has same lvl gaps.
So, The current stats shown for new myth bow should boost up a little more on dex :) and should add crit too :/ a mythic bow without crit is just not right :0

Dont cry lol the weapon arcane for rouge is lvl 26 and I never saw one rouge cry for bow mythic lvl 41.
Because they have been op in most times haven't they?

There is going to be the main event which should be when the new Mythics are released! Also will be A LOT better then the current Goblin event. The current event now is just a so called "test event" to see how they can improve for the next! But it's still a really well done event.. Just a fair few improvements and the main one shall be much greater! :D

I haven't heard anything but Mythic weapons Dig, I'm not a developer but surely they would tell us if there was other Mythics, but for now all there is are new Mythic gun lvl41 Bow, and Sword+Shield for warrior.

I find it ridiculous, we passed 3 months already this season. It was announced more than a month ago like an expansion, pre test event. etc. just one map and some weapons gosh..

Elondrian Recurve Bow
It is a Mythic rarity level 41 Rogue weapon.

When you fire this bow, either normal or charged, it will heal you for 10% of the damage you deal per shot. This does not include other spells or abilities you may do while holding the bow – only normal or charged attacks.
When you fight with it, it also has a chance on attack to proc a large bushe which spawn randomly around the bow weilder. Standing (hiding?) in this bush will apply a heal over time effect and remove snare or stunned effects from allies. If you are crafty and draw your enemies through these magic bushes, they will put a damage over time effect on those enemies.
Elondrian Bulwark
Mythic rarity level 41 Warrior Sword 'n Shield weapon set.

The Elondrian Bulwark is a tanking weapon, designed to help the Warrior survive while their party members support them.
When you take damage while the Bulwark is equipped, you have a chance to summon a guardian spirit that will heal and protect you for a short period of time and then will move to assist nearby allies. While the spirit is actively guarding a player, that player will also receive a +20 to their primary stat buff. When the spirit leaves a player, it will grace them with a 6 second heal over time.
Elondrian Gnarled Rifle
Mythic rarity level 41 Sorcerer Rifle.

Firing the rifle will energize the caster, returning 20% of the damage dealt to the player’s mana pool. This only affects normal and charged attacks, and not other spells cast while the rifle is equipped.
While firing the gun, it has a chance to proc gnarled roots, rooting the target and up to 5 nearby targets in place. The root effect reduces dodge of those enemies affected by 100% and armor by 25% for a short period of time. Magical gnarled roots are tenacious. When the effect wears off, there is the chance for them to spread to other nearby enemies.
There are a lot of other goodies to be had in the coming events, including unique and powerful pets, new armors, vanities and more as well as fun new bosses to fight to get them from!

this is my opinion, the stats on that new mythic weapon is great, but the appereance? i dont think the appereance cool enough for a "mythic" weapon.
i understand the element is "wood" but please make it looks more cool, not just looks like a wooden weapon like that.
this is just my opinion, maybe someone agree with me?
