So I was gaining xp on my level 8 enchantress when a level 10 warrior came in. He was like "Hey I'll help" I said sure. He helped, for 30 seconds. Then he started running leaving everything on me take damage. I survived and he said he couldn't take damage. BUT Warriors have more health then mages. So I said ok, just fight please. He didnt he just sat there and did nothing but bring more monsters to me. Afterwards he tried doing it and was like heal me. I did. THEN he just walked around and kept asking instead of helping or trying to get me alive to get more mana. So is it just me or do they not understand their class enough to play it? To all you newbie warriors you guys are tanks block and deal damge, archers stay back and deal damge, mages stay back deal damage and heal.

Yes, i think they must get some experience. Its not easy to be a good tank. Specially if you never play mmos. let them some time ; )

If this isn't a "Thank god matchmaking is so easy on this game" moment, I don't know what is.

When I was starting up, I had a basic feel for the game. Being played a MMO previously, I knew as a warrior, my job was to pull, and tank.

My suggestion to you: Find a good level 50 INT mage and pay for a power level to get you out of the Forest Haven maps. :p

I've been an endgame tank in WoW for years when I made the bear. Not really because it was a tank, mainly for the look and feel. I didn't really know what I was doing with skills, I didn't level up Stomp (or whatever it's called) past 1 because I thought the range meant range in which it hit, and I had mobs balled up on me. I respeced once I realised how crazy good it was and how that level 2 slash thing that I'd put 5 points in was turd.

I think the best way to educate noobs that make bears is make Taunt the level 2 ability and have a quest in the starting zone where you have to use it to protect a bird/elf that's under attack from some baddies.

I didn't know how to use my bear till ao3 lol. The skill descriptions were always crap and putting 1 point in a skill did not give you a feel for how it would be with more points in it (taunt, beckon). I had to respec at lvl 50 cuz I had all the wrong skills.
