Lag on clock skill

Im a rouge using bow, i like to run elites, but i really dont enjoy run elite lately. Everytime any mage use their clock skill, my ping suddenly spike up above 15k.
No offense to all mages, and i admit we need clock skill on elite run. I do not know what makes me lag so bad. This only happened when mage using their clock skill. And this case only happened on my chrome, while im using phone, everything is ok.
Is there any trick to avoid this or something that i have to do ?

That's with the Sub-Skill: Countdown which Damages tones of enemies VERY fast and causing you to lag in High speed connection
