12% Damage is useless if you have an elixir or step into a Rogue's Veil buff based on the single modifier rule. And lol@HP Regen. Just as useless as Mana Regen.

It's the point system in the new event. To my understanding:


Completing specific tasks --which apparently change every 8h-- rewards points.
Think of the bar as an EXP bar; the more points you get by completing an event task, the more it fills.
The three circles at the top respesent the energy orbs (maximum of three) that are required to enter in a portal (one orb per portal). These are rarely droppable from any boss (and possibly refresh every 24h).

[Green circles = orbs left, red circles = orbs used.]

The remaining circle on the top right corner that has a zero (0) on its left is a sort of level display - each time your points bar is filled completely, you go up by one level.
Total Points is obviously your total score throughout the event so far.
Total Points and "Event Level" are potentially factors that help you access the higher event rewards (or maybe related to a ranking system).

I'm a bit worried about the time needed to kill that boss, if a rogue with arcane ring mythic bow new items and arcane pet does that damage I'd like to know how much can a player without them but let's say best legendary gear + mythic armor and helm, to not talk about sorcer and war damage that would be lower

Why dont people like the %damage? Its constant, that means always applied. Not everyone always uses plat to buy elixir and shadow veil does have cooldown, doesnt it? What if a boss just spits the poison on the shadow veil (like arachna) will you want to stand on it to get 20% damage or run away and enjoy the constant 12% damage? Not to mention not all rogues use shadow veil either, especially in PvP. Constant 12% damage is useless? meh

If you noticed she was just kiting around with normal and charged bow attacks and did not want to kill boss :) she didnt even fill her mana bar. I think this will just be like the goblin or the wolf at tarlok event where it takes ages to kill but are very weak :)

Lol, you misinterpreted it. Damage and armor STILL won't stack in the new client. They will still only count the most potent numbers. The new stat screen will show you that the numbers don't stack, and also fix the bug where passive skill doesn't show.

So, Kei is "partially" right about that one. But I disagree that 12% damage is totally useless, because most of the time people are not using damage elixirs and/or standing on top of shadow veil.

How about letting the market decide what people will pay for them? If you want to find an estimated price range, make a thread when it comes out in order to see prices.

This helps things moving along because it gives people the general idea of the price point and they can use it as a reference point until supply/demand takes hold. So, in order to figure out a true value, I suggest starting a thread saying that you are selling one. It is really the only way.

Based on the point system that was previously discussed, it sounds like if you play 12 hours a day every day of the event you have a chance ​at getting one.

It doesn't stun, lol. It is a PvE pet like whim. Yes, all arcane pets are good in PvP but Samael will be vastly better.

Additionally, it doesn't sound like the pet will be crate dropped. Although, only time will tell. If it is crate dropped, or dropped in a similar amount as they would being crate dropped, the price will be very similar to that if whim.

For me at least, I make a point of I so!aging targets in TDM. I prefer to go off and just 1v1 everyone. Healing pools would be less helpful than stun with this strategy. In clashes, CTF, heal is vital. However, the less characters who benefit, the less useful this as is. I already made a point of why the as may fail in CTF. Although, only time will tell.

I don't believe 50mil is even close. I also believe a pet OP enough to carry such a cost will be needed.

You stated in another post the clip is unhelpful in telling us how good the proc is, I agree. For now at least, let's talk about what we do know and leave our wallets home (you too Zeus). Price seems irrelevant, to me, when discussing the desirability and potential pros/cons of this pet.

This said, go in talking price all you want. I will simply ignore it since I find such debates uninteresting in the context of this pet's analysis.

Why is your armor so low? It is 1888 with an archon potency and over 1900 with an arcane ring. Not to mention a maxed maul user has over 7.3k HP.

You lose a significant amount of damage, however it may be acceptable for a maul user.

Dear Devs,

Please make sure the healing pools only affects allies and damaging pools affects only hostile targets. Also, eggs/totems in Tindirin, and Rendtail (since he hangs off the cliff edge?) must be targetable by Shady & Surge's AA as well.

Ps: I hope Shady & Surge's AA has some OP-ness, since Sam already has passive health regen with poison dot (+panic) with a wide radius by simply just attacking.

Popular players aren't necessarily geared extremely well. Rich players will obviously have the best gear.

However, this pet is said to be "a very special and rare reward." So it will likely have something to do with the event's point system we will know more about later on.

The upgraded helm and armor are practially worth nothing because most people have them. Mythics have became the new legendarys.

These are good stats, but i still dont think that better than samael. Ok i mean good hp, good dmg good crit, but how you crit if you cant move? Its all depends on how good the activated arcane ability will be, the hp and mana regen rate, which we dont know yet.

I wish, the Shady and Surge pet can loot in Locked Crates. cause if its a contest again just to get that cool pet it'll be boring especially to those who doesn't have a chance to get that.. or.. maybe just like Singe, its a reward from a contest here in Arcane Legends/Forums and also can loot in Locked Crates :D *just wanna say / my comment in this post*

Which is a fair assumption. However, we know that the next lb will be divided by class and there is still the possibility that they are given out like the shard was (#1 only).

A super powerful arcane pet limited to 3-9 in the game? 99,999,999 + items sounds possible. It will be the ultimate status symbol as well as usuable. No reason for the price to be low.

I would guess it will be like the entangled bow proc, where they put a circle inside the pool showing with the color of the team that it belongs to.

They should really do this with shadow veil too, for that matter.
