Don't expect too much though as there will be huge sellers to compete the number of buyers and also the plat users who gonna open lockeds, they are likely to buy all lockeds already!

Well, since I know at least 3 players hoarding over 1,000 crates. Not much.

Last double odds weekend it went up to 13-14. But now there's like x4 more locks out there. I personally have 400 lol

Another reason why they won't go high is because unlike previous events it won't be just a weekend. But like a week or more. And now there are other options for people to spend plat on. Before it was just one weekend and you can only spend your plat opening crates. And unlike previous events it seems more likely to participate in a meaningful way you will have to spend plat for energy balls. So this basically takes plat away from people who may otherwise use it to open crates.

Also many people will be buying up mythics to upgrade them so they can convert their plat to gold and drive up prices on these weapons. This is the safest and biggest return on plat to gold investment.

Amy mentioned that "Shady & Surge will only be available as a very rare special reward during the event" so we might be looking at the first arcane that won't --initially, at least-- come in locked crates. Although I suspect that it'll promote heavy platinum spending as well.

I dont think it will rise much, since all those hardcore poppers are already loaded with locks

Why don't you guys miss one thing....The more the locks are now stacked the less the price will be during event.

When the first mythic weekend came that is exactly a year back locks wer around 30k..and during the end they wer 50k while the update came to close it.....but from then during the mythic weeks they are around 20k..the case might be like only once it's double loot of everything from next time it's just some items that wer double looted....anything might be the reason it's always a gamble.

Its the new comers always expecting crate prices to go up but you know what... they dont.

highly doubt they'll be much different than they are now... I'm predicting that they'll actually go down!
