Arcane Legends 1.1 Client Should Go Live June 3rd

Hey everyone,

I want to update you regarding the coming new Client for Arcane Legends, version 1.1, that was mentioned previously in the Producer's Letter (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?155749-May-Legends-Producer-s-Letter-Arcane-Legends-Events-Dancing-Trees-and-More!).

We are planning to push the new 1.1 client out on the morning of June 3rd. As for the hour, it will be late morning Central US Time when we first put it out. Please keep in mind that it will take the new version up to several hours to propagate out through iTunes, Google Play and the Chrome Web Store. Because of the propagation delay through the various app providers, it is hard to say when precisely when you will be able to get it.

Also, it is worth mentioning that while their are effectively two versions of the game running, you can run into some weird things. For example, if you are in a guild and get the new version before the rest of your guildmates do, you may log in to an empty guild roster. Once the old version is turned off (later in the day, once the propagation to all corners of the globe is done) and everyone is on the new version, things will be back to normal :)

No events are coming with the client. The new client addresses a bunch of improvements, bug fixes, etc.

The Goblin event will come shortly after the release of the new client. Maybe the week after or two to allow the remaining time this week to address any glitches or bug reports that arise from the new client.

The Ursok Assault event will come with the new Mythics and will be released after the Goblin event.

im going to predict its both. it should be available in locked and from some event-based reward (such as event chests) for a limited time. Either way plat should be involved because that's the only way STS will get an return on their investment in creating this new content. It makes sense since the upcoming event has a "limit" with the energy balls that can only be overcome with plats as I understand it. STS will either get you to spend more plats to open crates or more plats to get more chances at event for an event chest is how I would imagine it.

My guess is that we will see a similar portal system as the tarlok event where plat could be spent to guarantee the dragon spawned every time.
