Considering they all use the exact same terrible English I will say it's same person on different toons. And not all players scam. He likely was but if you catch me in game I often double money legit.

Agreed, however I think it's a bad idea for you to give away money like that.
Reason being that people are now spamming daily
"Can anyone double my money".
So my normal reaction is to say no, no one can its a scam. But now the argue that some people do it.
Your kinda encouraging people Avid, do it any other way. This is way too common a scam to make it seem legit in the least.

Instead of doubling money, they should just give free money :eagerness: that's an idea right?

The difference is I never take their money. If you put 25k in trade I put in 50k and we trade. Never give a player your gold for nothing. Guess I should have clarified.

Cant you see how that would make people believe that there is a such thing as "legit doubling gold"?
I still think you should do it in a way that doesn't possibly encourage people to believe in the double scam.

If i ask you to double gold and you do it for me no problems then i will trust the people who possibly will scam me because ive already trusted someone if you know what I mean

A few times I've gathered enough testicular fortitude to indulge in these double gold scams and for the first time today, It bit me. First 4-5 times I tried with small amounts like 500k, or 250k, and was pleased with the result. But today, I came across a player offering to double gold, and I opened trade set gold to 20,000 and it went south from there, no sooner could i press exit and he was gone. So there are a few players out there who are honest for the most part, but its simple, don't give another player gold or an item without getting something in return of equal value. Follow that rule and getting scammed will be a thing of the past.
