Excessive stat points?

I know this question has probably been asked a lot, but i cant be bothered finding the thread, so is there any clue of what will be done with excessive points since the latest client update? No more skill switching means less skills are required, which means more points unnecessarily assigned to passives. A 5th skill perhaps?

What's your class? There are always good options to spend your point in. And skill-swapping wasn't removed, it was limited.

As a mage I don't find that I have excessive skill points. The next cap may be a different story though.
