With the new update where we can see the passive damage increase from pets most will
notice about the change on stats whenever you go to PVP then compare it to PVE.

Here I used the +15% damage increase from Flapjack on my twink rogue.
The higher stat was while I was on town, the lower was in CTF PVP room.

To make this clear to all the players (specially PVP players), these changes in stats was
already running since the start of PVP only now you get to notice it now because of the
update.

Made a topic that includes the answer to this issue, might want to take a read:

Basically, the 10% damage nerf places on rogues a few seasons back is not only overriding any damage buff offered by any pet, it's also applied afterwards. Definitely needs some refining there.

It makes sense doesn't it? If the pet's % is not applicable in pvp, how could it affect the owner's stats either before or after the zone stat alteration? When a character and their pet enters the arena, the stats are all recalculated, and the pet's % bonus is discounted from the start. It is not given then taken away, but rather it is not counted at all.

We did the testing on this a while back, which came up with the conclusions everyone is just realizing. The only surprise I would find is if the 15% pets no longer gave the 5% they did 2 months ago. But that would not be such a big surprise either, considering sts makes constant efforts to maintain class balance in pvp.
