Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

Anyone playing this? I got it for a buck, and started playing today. But I can't figure out what to do. I'm stuck at this point where I simply have nowhere to go. I've tried running along walls, jumping, etc. Everything ends in a dead end. I keep dying trying to see if there's somewhere else I can go, and I just fall to my death. Tired of starting over and over from the drinking fountain, so hoping someone can help me.

Managed to get past that point eith a walkthrough, but I have to say -- this is the most aggravating game I have played.
