What would be better for PVE, a paladin or just a regular enchantress? I am pretty new and just curious

Enchantress = Die's easily but causes massive group damage, thus faster dungeons.
Paladin = Basically a bear with Enchantress spells; Medium-High survivability, Low-Medium damage and guzzles potions like a Hummer guzzles gas.

I play alone a lot, pure-INT Enchantress is a breeze. I barely ever touch potions and I can mow down at minimum three enemies at a time (usually more). I tried soloing on my tank Bear and it's awful. My Bear has to chug potions constantly.

What makes pure-INT Enchantress great for soloing is large mana pool and high mana regen, that means rarely using potions and always having mana to cause damage. If you get in trouble, pop Magic Shield and eat mana potions until you get through it. A well-placed Weakness negates most incoming damage.

It doesn't even really need to be well placed either :). It cools down so fast that it is usually ready to rock by the next mob set when I solo.
