When do i fight major payne ? I've been looking for him !

From my experience.
Payne shows up when your rank is high so better make your rank to Gold. Also must consider your party's rank.
If you are a gold ranker and playing with silver or bronse it affects the boss spawn.

First you need to be of Gold tier and then party wid people of gold tier only so that the chance will be higher to get him...and I get him almost 80% of times.

600k in kits and finally got him. Saw him a second time quickly after and got a Gyrm drop. So I made nearly all of it back.

Funny thing, I've been PUGging all day and got Chief like 2 in 20 times. Most of my toons are at silver tier now.
I was somewhat disappointed with the rate, so I've decided to give soloing a try...
Bronze tier, 1st attempt, Chief Fury.
Next, silver tier, 1st attempt, Major Payne (my first encounter).
I don't know if it's related to soloing or rated by the lowest party member, or I was just super lucky. Anyway, here goes the image.
Also he's pretty tough, I am not looking forward to PUGging him, as it will need some serious teamwork to prevent healing.
And, he only drops 6 tokens, BTW.

Edit: Definitely better bosses when soloing over PUGging. Way to go, STS.

Points encourage better bosses. I was running in a party with a net 80k points. We saw payne at least once every other run and not once did we see littlehorn.

I fought him three times now and no egg! I suppose you got to fight him upteen times to get that egg.

Just play solo,payne will almost all runs show up I got he in 3times in a row when playing solo

Depends on luck. I am in gold tier I never met him aswel. I did parties with friends I did pug I did solo and the results are always any other bosses but Payne. Same with 2 friends of mine, never met Payne.
But then there are also two other friends of mine who encountered Payne 3 times+ being in silver tier haha. I guess its all lucks

I used to get him in silver tier after each 8hrs. (energy ball regenerate after 8hrs and m poor to buy energy kits)

Solo party or run in gold tier party.. If u solo party the problem is he heals very fast... For a warr solo'ing its hard though

just hit gold tier and got him 3/4 times. just get to gold and you'll see him pretty often

Like many are writing, go with a gold party. We got Major Payne 3/5 times yesterday. I went random and got Chief and Sergeant.. two of them said they were silver tier. Get to gold tier (if you're not already) and form a gold party. :)

Are you soloing? If someone joins your party that is in a lower tier then major Payne won't spawn. You should only be getting chief fury or major Payne in gold tier.

I did solo. I did party with my Gold tier friends aswel. Every times its only chief fury!! I have some friends having 800 points and met Payne like only 2-3 times. Better than me, I never get to fight Payne! Anyway all good I'll keep on trying!

I never found him. Gold tier on both toons, ran every free energy ball I got. Oh well. I had already cut back on my time spent playing this game. This event system will only push me further away.

Major Payne drops 6 event tokens, not sure if number varies by boss but I've gotten 6 from him
