This isn't random, richies throwing away gold or just kind people enforcing their own gold sink. It's an often seen trick to get accidental lock purchases at immense prices exploiting the way the current auction search system keeps the highlighted item even after you reverse price list.

I remember that kershal pretty good..
It wasn't gemmed. And the price I sold it for (+6 mil) was for a perfect kershal.

And if u need money for it, I am more than happy to share the profit.
