It does this on my android but not on my ipad.

I also find it annoying that my energy box blocks the boss health bar while I'm fighting a boss.

Not to mention, i cant even see my guildchat so it really needs to be fixed

I want to make sure I am understanding your feedback correctly.

The issue is that the dark background for the text doesn't fit to the text displayed? If so, then that is a Known Issue, as reported here: http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?157801-Client-1-1-Known-Issues

It will be fixed in the next client update that will also fix the upgrade crafting bug and the limit of 5 pets in the stable for the iOS client.

Also, if you want to, you can tap on the Event UI twice to collapse it to be smaller.
