Disappeared pet

So I opened ripmaw, after I switched chars, I found out my
Ripmaw has disappeared from my stable, it's happiness bar is gone but yet I still have it, but it's not in my stable anymore :/

As u can see, I still have the pet but it's name is gone...

No that's just because pets are like friends except that it is socially acceptable for pets to lie across your lap, but it can be described as "awkward" when your friends do.

Also, I don't have any friends covered head to toe in fur.

I wasn't thinking and opened an egg myself. Let's hope that when the client update comes these newly opened pets will still be there.
