Crash when fighting Keeper in Crush the Keeper

When fighting against the Keeper in Crush The Keeper, the person who the Keeper repeatedly knocks back will crash and he/she will need to relaunch Pocket Legends and login again. This happens just as the Keeper is about to be defeated and has happend to my friend and myself multiple times. The crash can be repeated.

This is on an iPad. Network consists of a 35Mb/s synchronous broadband connection with a Netgear WNDR3700 router. The network has never had any problems under any other circumstances.

Please address this issue. It seems to have gotten worse. Now, several players can get booted and way before the Keeper gets defeated.
