Remiem hinted that they may use the goblin event again in the future.

A permanently discontinued pet is extremely unlikely. Usually gear (notably founders) and vanities (notable commando) are permanently discontinued.

will gyrm and ironbite return in the next goblin event? maybe, most likely not. Just because they plan on releasing another goblin event (expanded like the upcoming ursoth) doesn't mean they will reuse the same items that were part of this event.

We could possibly see a reskin of gyrm, which would make gyrm a collectors item and great pet. We could also see them as part of a limited event sometime in the future like they did with mythic pet eggs.

investing in items are always a risk, and its up to you if you want to take it.
