View Full Version : Worth it to save Holiday Purples and Greens?

I've been farming the toy man like everyone else and am trying to save all the Holiday items to sell later on. Is it worth it to save the purples and greens too, or do only the pinks go up in value later on? Would I be better off selling everything but pinks now?

Thanks!

I got bored of my stash and started selling off some of it. But yeah they will raise in value over time, but you will have bad luck selling them until next christmas. Value of holiday items never really raises til the next holiday, but the value it increases is usually a ton.

All right-- I'll try to sell them and buy pinks with the $. But there are so many... I wish auction slots weren't enormously overpriced!

sell / liquidate anything that is not pink... ppl only buy pinks... i suppose u can sell the purps also but no one will pay anything for them so its pointless... I have a fulll set of halloween pinks im saving to sell for a decent price.... I also have the full set in purple but i was thinking no one would buy it and I kept it because my stash still had room.

LOL

I have recently been liquidating all my PINKS on the CS for 1/4 the price of their true value and I have been selling most items for the past 2 weeks. I'm at 700K gold now :) and Im still selling...

need to make room for pinks i want to keep and can use.....

I'm one of the oldies so I have 250 inventory slots ... does anyone know if I can buy more or is that the cap?

I've only sold my greens and purples, but it's slowed down lately.

Thats cuz I stopped buying. I bought 6 x 250 chirstmas holiday items. Then my stash is only Halloween items.

just a question, i overstashed one of my char (wich i dont use for dungeons) with more then 50 items. seems that is no problem stashing when i use the char for towns only...

can i put an infinity number of items doing like so..?

I've been having no problems selling green and purple winter items on CS. Remember not everyone bought the pack.

I think they'll do ok. People always ask me about candycane/peppermint/toy man stuff, etc. I think they'll ask even after the holidays.

Heck, I'll take anybody's greens that they don't want :D

I made enough money to buy power armor and my rift helm by only selling greens and purples from the holiday dungeon. Anyone that says people don't buy the purples and greens has no clue what they're talking about. Some of the purples are worth 7-10k and the greens I've been selling for 3-4k and making a damn decent haul. That being said, much like dawn, I too have been experiencing a slow down in sales the last two days or so.
