Need help with my first dual spec char!

I wouldn't go dual wield int/str. The tank side isn't that great. Tanks slow down the party, IMO a tank needs dex, for the much higher damage boost. I tried int/str bear, and it ended up not as I expected. Sure int adds hit, and damage, like dex. Dex does add more of it though, enough to make a big difference. The int bear is good, but I have a better build than half int, had str, so he isn't dual anymore, kinda a suckish tank:)

Here's a guide I made for a level 30 twink, just convert it to level 50, and use 4 items to boost, rather than 2.

One thing: if you want to be a staff bear, meaning, you don't have wand/bracer, you must do 129 int, to be able to save the staff as a load out when switching from int 1 to int 2. If you do have a 1H for int, just do 127/127

I know, I did that until I needed robe for my twink.

Les, actually, int bears do very well. Well, at least I do since I know how to play one and have been one before. Nice debuffs, fast at clearing, especially for a bear, and doesn't slow down the party like a tank does. You just need to know how to play them, which I've only seen one other int bear that knew how which was chaudex. It's a very fun spec and really can pull it's own weight in the party:)

But if you're referring to this build alone, don't join my games either plz:p

Mystic, I have no idea if either of the builds are good or not. I never tried an int bear. My point was simply that I don't want anyone in my game who chooses their build based on the appearance of the gear.

Ohh true, I chose it because I got tired of being a tank and slowing down the parties, and I used to be one and remembered it being fun and pretty good. IMO, with the right build its one of the best bear specs for a party. I do agree though, doing it for the gear, especially the look, isn't a good reason. I just became it then remembered I thought itd look cool:p
