Sometimes we use words even if we know they are incorrect, here are some examples:

Rouge or rogie instead of rogue
Sorceror instead of sorcerer
Golds instead of gold
Gears instead of gear
Samuel instead of samael
Sceptor instead of scepter

Wkwkwkw (indo) or jajaja (spanish) to express laughter.

Several singular nouns can be the same as their plural plural form without being "wrong." It depends on your native tongue. "Maths" is the singular form of Mathematics in most European Nations but the West says "math." I can conceded that the European version makes more sense but neither is technically wrong.

Additionally, it is abnormal for the plural form of a word to also be the singular form. How strange would it be to say, "I bought seven car"? All I'm suggesting is that we pick and choose our battles with pointing out spelling " errors."

I'm not saying Parth has killed a lot of trees, I'm just saying he is entirely to blame for deforestation in the rainforests.

I think you forget that English is not everyone's first language, so you can cut them some slack there.
