newbie question about quests

im a lv9, just started recently. im still in forest haven, ive done 5/19 of the quests here, but wondering how i get to the other 14 quests? ive gone threw an gotten all the orbs, but now im lost. can someone give me a swift kick in the @ss in the right direction?

if your quest log is completly empty there will be a hint in there. also if you're walking around town, a yellow exclamation mark over someones head means they have a quest for you. a yellow question mark means you have to turn a quest into them.

oooooooooooh, i was talking to ppl ie blake in lv3, but i was just clicking ok, not on the quest. i thought i had to do something else before i could start that. duh.
