Who We Are
<Chosen> is an Endgame Guild that is active in PVP and PVE Elite Farming. We are fortunate to have a Core of versatile and strong players that can play at any level, and we celebrate each other! More than a guild, we are a Family of Kindred Spirits. It's the bond of kinship that takes us far together in Arlor!
What We Look For
As a general guideline :
• Be Lvl 40+
• Have min 12k APs
• Be Mature-minded, play well together (U need to be able to survive fairly well too, for this we look at kdr/gear).
• Be active.
We do have some good twinks, talk to us if you're interested in bringing yours. :)
Recruiting : Please interview. No random guild invitations - please say in /g who it is you're inviting to avoid the newcomer getting autokicked. :)
What You Can Expect
Quality over Quantity, good sportsmanship. <Chosen> is cosy & friendly with a steady, relaxed but alert vibe. We want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves, to benefit. And to us, that means quality of experience (apart from brotherhood). No one deserves a bad party!

Guildies can expect to get strong support, respect, and care from us - brothers & sisters come first! Help is readily available to those who help themselves in <Chosen>. We aren't shy to reward. However, just like in any decent guild, there are some basic rules that will need respecting.
And, yuh, while we're at it, be prepared to kick some serious butt !
Rules
No spamming, scamming, begging, harassing, excessive profanities. No backbiting please, that's really damaging and not useful.
Merching - If a guildie sells an item to you at a discount, please do not resell it unless they explicitly say it's ok (no soliciting please). Anything sold at market price is fair game. Buying/Selling in guild - high end items only. Advertise once, NO FULL CAPS (hehe).
No random guild invites - we autokick randoms. If you're inviting someone please say so briefly in /g.
PVP
We are neutral and do not take sides in wars. No allies, no enemies. Can be summed up as "Be ready, be a good sport" :
• Be well-geared.
• Wear guild title in pvp. Do not kill guildies unless u've both agreed to vs.
• No spot-blocking, spawn killing.
• No trash talking.
• Do not initiate ganging.
PVE
• No random invites.
• Do not abandon party. Having said this, if the party is really bad get out of there and tell an Officer!
• Ping - pls inform party if u lag. (If it won't get better, excuse yourself after the run and try later.)
• In case you can't plat revive at boss, stay down unless u can make it back in time.
Mostly common sense, really. Basically we aim to create freedom from worry. If ever in doubt, ask in /g. We are here to make things easier for one another! :D The quicker we know about the problem, the faster we can help resolve it. Easy!
Promotions
Promotions are done weekly. Players are shortlisted by way of recommendation via feedback polls in /g (subtle to obvious). All feedback from all active Guildmates will be considered, regardless of rank.
Some basic qualities we look out for include - loyalty, common sense, initiative, how willing & able you are to participate/help out.
We are equal-opportunity. Young players are most welcome to step up as long as there's readiness to be held to the same requirements. ^^ At the same time no one will be pressured to take up rank. It's more important to us that everyone has fun and feels comfortable.
Recruiters need to be active in-game and able to follow basic recruitment rules & guidelines, take pride in being <Chosen>.
Officers need to meet those, plus be good at least one area of interest in AL - doesn't matter what area, but you'll need to have something our peeps can benefit from and respect above recruiters. Doesn't need to be gameplay. U'll also have to be able to handle working adults gracefully.
Our Officers enjoy a great deal of trust & autonomy. U do need to remain contactable through at least 1 channel and show up regularly at in-game Officer meetings. Anyone who goes inactive (in-game less than 1-2 hours per week) for > 3 weeks is auto-demoted, no exceptions. We're happy to restore rank once you can be active again. We think that's pretty reasonable. :D
Please note that you will have to start as a member again if you choose to leave the guild and return later.
