Why do L50 make low level games?

Rarely to help - far more often to get easy loot and sell them - thereby corrupting the game economy and making rare pinks less rare.

I suggest a loot system update, that (just like experience) prevents players of a higher level than the zone level, from getting any loot in this zone.

My suggestion might save the game economy and most importantly restore the joy of finding a super item - a key element in mmorpg's.

And it would leave the games with the nice high level gamers who actually are in the game to help the struggling players.

Summary: Change loot system to align with exp gain, so you only get loot in zones where you get experience.

You do know that hundreds, if not thousands, of people were already lvl 50 before Wyldwood and the new Swamp town came out, right?

As I'm sure countless others would, considering farming swamps is all most lvl 50s are doing these days, now that the lvl 50 items are all worthless.

Not to mention that there is nothing preventing a lvl 50 from wearing lower level items (like a Vyxnar helm) if they so please.

And they're needed for dual-wielding as well.

To me, that will make even fewer high levels want to join low level games. If you want somebody to blame, blame all the level 10- people leeching drops/xp with 20 kills and 60 deaths.

huh. It's a game. I keep seeing low levels complaining about high levels ruining the game and high levels complaining about low levels leaching. Just host your own game if you are so worried about what others do... All the safeguard against those evil "not your level" cheaters are there. As far as the in game economy goes it seems healthy to me (low level items being cheaper than high level and all). Personally I do not care who joins my games and will go out of my way to protect a lower level who is obviously working for the XP as hard as he can. Cheers.

First off don't talk about economy if you have no idea how an economy system works. What you propose is a stupid idea since when you need money after level 50 you will need to farm lower areas in order to make money to buy endgame gear. And this provides better prices for lower level players.

Umm if lvl 50's didn't farm these items, then they would be ridiculously high in price. God knows how many people go to Vyx hoping for a drop, the helm is still 500-600k. Now imagine if only lvl 35's and lower could only get a vyxnaar helmet. The price on them would easily be 5 mil at least...

Lvl 50's actually save the economy, who else is gonna power farm all this stuff? Not you. The thing that is killing this economy is lack of variety and lack of updates. Gear is only worth anything really until everyone in the game gets the armor. Which is pretty easy since theres only 3 top armors that people have been aiming to obtain for several months now with no updates to the game really.
