magma for hp and armor
upgraded mythic for damage and crit

Take your pick, both are sufficient for end-game elites with appropriate skill, i.e If you are bad at kiting, unfamiliar with boss strategy or have a reckless play-style you may have a better chance surviving more with the magma set.

For Tanks, I'd suggest Magma.

For Rogues that are very comfortable in elite Tindirin, probably Mythic; otherwise Magma.

Sorcs will probably fare best with Magma, unless you are a pro elite runner.

You can usually skip on the helm for tanks. You lose 30 DPS and 100 HP for 50 armor.

The magma plate of will is the best for tanks though (excluding Ursoth gear)

Mythics can get you dead a lot faster if you don't know your team and/or you're not very experienced with elites. That's why we have gear loadouts, to swap to suitable sets per situation. So my answer would be both Magma and Mythic.

Unfortunately for mages magma armor sets don't offer the best of anything. For best damage go with mythic. For the best survivability go with dragon scale of will/fatality. Those are the 2 loadouts I use depending if I need the extra damage or health.
