check the photo mode. Sometimes being in anything but RGB can mess it up. Also some photo editing softwares have a "Constrain proportions" option. Turn it off and you can manipulate the photo however you want to.

I tried resizing in paint, and I entered the size, paint frozen and saying not respinsonding...it still says that and has been for a few minutes, I'm in my iPad now because I tried resizing and crashed Microsoft paint. HOW DO U MAKE MICROSOFT PAINT CRASH?!?!?

I don't use paint to edit, I just thought I would try it to resize. I use PicNik for the editing...
