View Full Version : Desert as the next dungeon?

Hey, I heard that the next dungeon is gonna be desert and pyramids, is this true? If so here are some ideas for it: enemies should be mummies and bosses should be pharaohs, weapons should look like sand and have either beetles on them or have a gold snake (Like Pharaohs had on headdresses) and should be striped blue and gold (again like headdresses), and some stages should be in the desert with pyramids around you and other times stages should allow you to enter the Giza pyramids.

So what do you guys think? Thanks!

Ya, it would be a pretty cool idea, but as said above, the next campaign will be alien oasis.

Ahh I got it!! Soo it is in the desert..? "oasis".. aliens.. desert.. Area 51.. heck yes!

No, it seems like the Alien Oasis campaign is going to be a combo scifi/desert, alien/mummy kinda thing. Which is original to say the least. Can't wait to see it.

Well, it will be a desert, however most likely inferring from the name of the upcoming dungeon it'll have alien mobs.

Where are you guys getting this information? I didn't see the devs mention anything about Alien Oasis taking place in the desert. Can someone clarify? If it is a desert+alien combo, that would be awesome!

I think it might have just been his future idea for after the alien oasis. I think that the alien oasis is what is coming out next and that is all aliens/space. The desert theme could be the map pack that comes out after that, and they have just gotten a little head start with it.

That's what I was thinking. But it could also be that you travel to a desert and fight some mummys and all that jazz and end up finding Area 51 in the process.

Or, you go to Egypt and get inside one of the pyramids. While your in the pyramid you discover that they were actually built by aliens. Aliens suddenly sprout out of the wall and try to kill you to prevent you from revealing their secret to the world.

Haha that reminds me of the latest Indiana Jones movie. It would be pretty neat if they were somehow intertwined though.
