Was only able to loot the demonlogist helm, friend sold me the armor cheap though.
Man, you've been max geared for a while Energizeric. For some reason I thought you started in S2.

Man, you've been max geared for a while Energizeric. For some reason I thought you started in S2.
I actually started playing only a couple of weeks before S2 was released, but I played a lot in those few days and managed to max out some of the gear, but not all. The demonologist helm and armor were the best ones, but the flamestrike was not the assault version and was only level 15, and my ring and amulet were not the best ones. Most of those 202 deaths came from being one hit by Elite Jarl or shot dead by those archers in the group right before him.
Things became much easier in season 2 when they added health points for DEX & INT and sorcerers saw our health points go way up.

That's why I out all gear ahead of my weapon on mage. Needed the survivability. I eventually changed classes after the fireball, lightning, and ice nerf. I didn't have any "good" tank friends so I figured that would be a good choice, especially since I'm used to being a Paladin or Priest. Rogue didn't make sense for me.
@jarl farming: that pretty much sums up S2, he was so easy to farm gear off of. Did a few Madrom and Nest runs when I could but PUG wise everyone beat up poor jarl.
