The much anticipated Ursoth's Assault event is live. Log in now to help the Elondrians fight the evil troll and stop him from getting through the dimensional rift into Arlor.

TLDR: Visit Elondria from the World Map. Use Energy to enter portals to fight bosses. Beating bosses earns you points and tokens. Points advance you through the tiers: Bronze, Silver and Gold; there are rewards for each one! Tokens can be spent at the token vendor for exclusive items. Replenish your energy by crafting energy kits with energy essences, collect them as drops from world bosses, or buy them from other players on the consignment shop.

Energy System

There are now even more ways to earn energy to enter portals during the event.

New: It's craftable!
All over Arlor, mobs and bosses will drop a new essence: Energy Essence. Three of these can be crafted over 2 hours into an energy kit that your character (and only that character) can use whenever you need an extra!

They Drop From Event Bosses, Chests and Crates
Energy points will sometimes drop when you defeat an Ursoth's Assault event boss. Plus, they can drop from any of the event chests or the special Elondrian Locked Grand Crate of the Watch.

Buy Them in the Consignment Shop
Just like in the Goblin Event, Energy Kits will be available for platinum that can be traded or sold for gold in the consignment shop.

They Replenish Over Time
Every 8 hours, you will earn one free energy...without having to do a thing! Neat.



Tiers

Tiers will work similar to how they did during the Goblin event, but now have even bigger rewards when you reach each one.

Bronze Tier
Upon reaching bronze tier you will be rewarded with the exclusive Elondrian Ranger Banner, and the recipe to combine event chests (Entangled Chests) into the special Spirit Chests, which have a chance to drop new Mythic weapons.

Silver Tier
When you reach the Silver Tier you will receive three very rare Spirit chests. Gold Tier
Then, if you make it all the way to Gold Tier, your reward is a very special new tradeable pet egg. Hatch the egg to receive the new Legendary Bear Pet, Dovabear.

Leaderboards

If you're the competitive type, the leaderboards are what you'll want to focus on. Getting to the top of the leaderboards not only show's that you're the best of the best, but it comes with some pretty sweet rewards too. There are 4 leaderboards for Ursoth's assault: Overall, Top Mages, Top Rogues and Top Warriors.

The overall leaderboard is for bragging rights only and does not give out rewards. If you're in the top 50 for your class you'll receive this unique event banner: Elondria's Savior Banner.

Event Crates & Chests
There are two different kinds of Event Chests that can drop during the event.

Entangled Chests can drop from the first 3 bosses and contain things like armor, items, gold, and more, but do not have the chance to drop the new mythic weapons.

Spirit Chests, however, are extra special chests that drop from Ursoth (the #4 event boss) and are awarded to players when they reach Silver Tier. Spirit Chests will have a chance to drop the new mythic weapons.

Spirit Chests can also be crafted with a recipe (obtained when you reach bronze tier) allowing you to combine 3 Entangled Chests with Elondrian essences to make one Spirit Chest.

All event chests are free to open.

New: Locked Grand Crates of Elondria

Locked Grand Crates of Elondria are special locked crates that have a DOUBLE chance to drop the new mythic weapons. They drop rarely from the 4th event boss, Ursoth. That crate looks like this and costs 15 plat to open, just like a normal locked crate:

You'll also be able to obtain a special crafting recipe (purchased with tokens) that will allow you to combine 3 regular Locked Grand Crates of the Watch plus Elondrian Essences to create one Locked Grand Crate of Elondria.


Locked Grand Crates of the Watch

Ursoth's Assault Mythic Weapons will not drop from regular Locked Grand Crates of the Watch. This had been suggested in past updates about the event, but after some iterative changes to the system, this will no longer be the case. Instead, they will only be used in the crafting recipe to turn your locked crates into Elondrian crates with double mythic odds. (Actually, it ends up being less expensive than just opening regular lockeds! What do you know? :))

That witch boss takes too much time on lvl41, leaderboarders must skip her. There are very few chest, i opened 5 got only gold and once tokens, legendaries will be super rare..

I would like to commend STS on your choice to make elondrian essences obtainable by farming only. This is the first incentive we have seen in a very long time for people to actually get out and kill stuff rather than sit in town and merch / crate pop. The fact that you can ONLY get these essences by farming, and farming a decent amount, is going to save this event by giving people a reason to log in and farm.

Please don't change this, whatever you do. It's a blessing to all of us who actually want to play the game rather than just pay for prestige. I buy my share of plat, and don't quibble about it, but in the end this is a hack&slash game, and we should be encouraged to go out and do that hacking and slashing.

Just a question, with the bosses...
You will always fight a boss of your tier, never lower?
You can fight higher level bosses too?
I am just thinking this because the second boss I fought in the whole event was Helena..

Boss scale is wrong, it scales to the highest lvl player. It shouldnt be, because cant join to very low lvl party, so it cannot be abused.

I killed the mobs easy on my lvl7 warrior, then right before boss appeared, two lvl11 sorcerer noob came in with lower damage than my lvl7 warrior(rofl), mobs went to red and after they were unable to kill the witch boss so i must leave the room.

So this party system is a fail again, back to solo party.

Why need to craft energy kits, why not drops energy directly instead of energy essences?

All my crafting slots are full, so i need to use plat to finish crafting and it cost 4 plat to finish. I save 1 plat by farming 3 energy essence and craft them instead of buying an energy for 5 plat. Or back to waiting, so its the same paying wall, which looks free. Genious :stupid:

To super mod,
After all new mythic loot from elondrian lock and i use this mythic bulwark the damage n dps is low,warrior can be weak war only can be tank for those party but very hard to kill, I hope you can consider back the str 57 n dps is 84.3 pls adjust back to STR 90-120 and DPS 100-120 this should nice for warrior and is acceptable weapon to be call mythic if not this bulwark dont call mythic warrior laughing about the damage I hope look in this matter urgently n sts pls adjust back
