Sounds like something for rogues. Warriors would prefer the STR to boost their damage, and sorcerers need STR for shield strength.

Seems more beneficial to mostly rogues and mages who use blood gems for a boost. its like a blood+ gem for them. Warriors have to decide on the tradeoff which most likely isnt worth it for them.

The damn things take 10 elordian essences each which makes them very hard to craft. I have the recipe but have yet to craft one since pure Str will likely be better. The HP needs to be 40+ for regular gems and 80+ for perfects for me to even consider them since blood gems are 30 for regular gems and 60 for perfect gems. Even then, you sacrafice 1.7 DPS for every 3 str you lose. All perfects on a full legendary set results in +34 DPS. Is this worth the HP trade off? If it us 680+ I think so. Otherwise I will keep what I have. Definitely not going to regem any gear that already has a perfect for these.

Yes there is ( or maybe while talking there was) a bulwark with 3 regular elondrian gems in cs and they give +54 hp each

I bought a weapon with Elondrian Shard Gem. I have same weapon, same LVL in Inventory.

I am a rogue. The orig weapon has a grand f. gem and reg f. gem. The new weapon only has 1 elondrian shard gem.

The Gem says +33 Health, but I only get 18 extra health.

Is this right?


EDIT: If Health boost is really barely over 50% of what is advertised.... there really is no point.......esp if they take _10_ essence to craft.....essence that can be used to make ELO LOCK......

a lvl 41 upgraded with elo shards gets 54 health for a normal gem 115 for a perfect gem.....
a lvl 1 (lep for instance) gets 21 health for a normal gem and 54 for a grand gem....... numbers are rough but darn close.....

I did the math...a lvl 41 warrior all myth and full grand str gems all 45 of them gains 2750 health thru the gems....if u had 45 perfect elo shards instead of str gems u would gain 5175 health thru the gems effectively double the amount of health gain over str gems....however u lose all other stat gains. Besides the health

Energy essence dropped from ALL mobs in arlor and shuyal.(you can get the both essence type in tombs also)

All you need is Elondrian essence right? Then start farming.

Brankenridge if you dont have good gears, dead city or kraken isles if you want some XP.
