You make it sound like the essence are quick to farm, :-) . I made gold tier and only 6 essences so far.

Essences are easy to find,srsly my crafting slots are always full.
Unless f your a plat spender.

The new locks shouldn't drop below 40k or so..

it would drop because everyone craft them and sell them, unless many players believe it will rise up until the event.
But its sounds weird, isn't it? remember the chances 2x and got nothing expensive after spending 15p, many players thought that locked normal still the best beside cheap and easy to find, at least 15p too :D
Its related while Elondrian Crates dropped price, Normal Locked started to rise up..

Thats why this tip wont work.
Well, the "luck" drop system had always been flawed. When half the people say it's easy and the other half says it's brutal, there is something wrong.
But it's always been this way. Not going to change
I have so many energy essences I will have to start liquidating because I can't use them
