New Elondarian Locks Drops Old Myths?

As title I opened fang on my first lock. Are old myths double chance also? I rmb a post somewher that new event locks does not contain old myths. Hope a dev can shed some light on this.

Still can loot mythic ring and amulet, only helmet and armor not, so if you looted a fang, then its not a bug.

Not because they're in new locks the price drops cause they're old and weak these days.

I don't get why they decided to keep level 30 mythics in the crates. At least the armors can be upgraded to be 36 which is still good for this expansion. You could have had a mythic weapon but instead you're given a 200k or less amulet! Even the ring is worth 1m ish now.

I agree. I'm glad I read this thread. I'll be selling my elocks from this point forward.

Between fade and myself we opened about 1000 event crates. Two new mythics, two glacs, one Sam, and one fang. I feel we opened enough event boxes to safely say it's not double odds for the new mythcs. Seems like the loot table just rolls either red or orange without 2x of the mythics.

Its a fake double chance, like when the mythic eggs were in the crates in january. The real double chance was in season 4, when i opened 2 mythic weapons from 50 crate.

Welp,.... I spent about 3000 plat on e-locks,

i got two lunars, and one shuyal blood ring, If i was a quitter.........now wouldve been the time, :'(

The thought of keeping level 30 mythics in event locks that even take an accountable amount of work to make is completely awful. I have not heard of anyone happy to loot a fang, lunar, or doom because they know they could have looted a new weapon. At least the blood ruby is worth 1m. But compared to the price of opening 100-200 event crates you have no profit. Keeping these items in elondrian crates is a joke is what it is.

I have been through the pain of not finding new mythic and just one fang in first 20. I wanted to open a hundred and got lucky on the 23rd with a new gun :victorious: and I sold whatever I had unopened.
There are definitely some variables in play for looting to profit from the locked crates. What worked for me was a combo from klass with 25% luck (I had already opened for ursoth) and no lep. I got far less of 2000 gold and mostly pinks and mythics.
Since there are no supporting info from devs on luck/ combo lix while opening locks/ elocks you could call me superstitious if it does not make sense.:playful:

Chest loot is unaffected by reroll elixirs.

If L30 jewelry was excluded from the elondrian locks, they'd have to decrease the odds of the weapons themselves. So which would you prefer, opening 200 elocks and getting nada or opening 200 elocks and getting a 200k-1m item? I'd take the damn jewerly and be grateful that the gold return wasn't zero.
