You could still inadvertently pick up an essence...but I would still like the colour just to distinguish them apart...lol

it probably won't, it is almost similar with asking particle effect for some gears tbh, but sometime i want to choose which essence is worth enough to pick when trackbacking

It would be good to tell what type of essence you are going to pick up, especially since most players would trash Blood, Glacial, and Fire gems to clear some inventory space in order to keep Energy and Elondrian essences. After the event is over, it'll just be nice to have a differential look to the essences.
