It's Exp You don't spell "Experience" as Xperience It's "Exp"

Same deal as Xmas for christmas, just a convention. XP for experience has been used in role playing games for a long time. Also by your spelling in the title, it would be Exe :)

As Royce hinted, "Exeperience" isn't the correct spelling of the word. In my experience, spelling flames with incorrect spelling are an auto-FAIL. ;)

It's been "XP" for experienced-based progression games since the 1970's. The acronym comes from Dungeons & Dragons, which used "XP" for "experience points" to avoid confusion with "EP", which stood for "electrum pieces" (electrum being a material valued between gold and silver, something dropped in later releases). The term has become fossilized into RPGs in general.

HAY D00D!!1! You were the one who flamed first. ;)

... but if you're really worried about it, I'm not angry. I just thought it was funny that you chose to flame about a supposed spelling mistake, and your flame had a spelling mistake in it. In my humdrum life, that counts as serious comedy. :)

If it's just a game then why the hell do you care about peoples grammer? By the way, you spelled "oh" wrong.
