how can i change my attributes without spending a platinum?

i saw this one guy and he change his attributes from pure mage to paladin. i ask if he spend platinum but he said no and told me to check out the forum for it "dual-spacing"? what is that? and if anyone know can you all tell me how? thanks

The only way to change attributes is by re-specing which requires platinum. He was most likely a dual-spec class which focuses on two stats (STR and INT in this case). This allows him to wear the STR gear and/or INT gear. Dual specs are not pure mages or paladins. There's a guide on this forum that will tell you how to dual-spec.
