Hey guys, recently, I decided to make a level 15 dex bear twink. Today, it was finally PK-ready, so I set off into the PvP maps.

I met some new friends, had some friendly duels, even learned a thing or two from some great pkers, right? WRONG. I was constantly greeted with rushers, teamers, and flame for being new and "not having a face" (yes, that was a rusher's excuse). The good players did nothing to help me, instead killing me on sight. I did, however, manage to join a guild, "Ez", and was feeling happy, because I felt like I finally belonged. For those of you who do not know, Ez is a pretty large 10-22 guild, and I met a new member in almost every match.

Just when I was settling in, getting to know the "rules" of pking, learning that I was supposed to rush back, ignore flamers, leave against teamers etc, disaster struck. I got back online after eating lunch, and about 30 seconds later I was kicked from the guild for "rushing a guildie"

I talked to the player who kicked me and he was less than sympathetic. Apparently, I had rushed him mercilessly, spawn killing and all. However, I have never rushed first, nor had I seen his name (Niffers), and I had only been online for 30 seconds!

Does this happen often? I find it hard to look forward to a day of pking tomorrow if this is going to be the general theme.
Also, I would appreciate if someone gives me some concrete tips on what to do if I'm being rushed/teamed for "being new".

Some people take being teamed harder than others. The way I see it is you can either do these following options :
1. Take it. If you don't care about your kd ,being teamed can actually help improve you as a player. Low level players are like a pack of wolves if they smell weakness then they will eat you. I have experience of the low level scene and your not the only one it happens to.
2. Pvp with a different crowd whether that be moving to a more mature group of players e.g I agree with Micah 50-51 seems to have a good "vibe" or setting up your own game and booting people if you must.
3. Leave the game.
4. Try to have fun. It's a game so do what ever gives you enjoyment.
5. If you have friends ( not meant for it to be interpreted as an insult) invite them even the numbers up and have a FFA. I would recommend you practise so you can at least defend yourself.
And remember everyone gets teamed.

l15 is a cool place, i like it. generally the top players are polite most of the time, with some exceptions just like at any level. However, 12-20 probably has the largest population of any PvP level besides higher level stuff like 71-76. More players = more personalities = higher chance of bad apples.

The two MOST important words of advice I have are:

if you get teamed and have no help that could come: JUST LEAVE THE MATCH. Don't try to fight 2v1. It's nearly impossible at low level.
Don't say anything while rushing/getting rushed. Just say "ow" or something if you have anything to say.

i just had the same problem with the same guild. An officer of the guild started rushing me knowing that i was in the guild i rushed him back and did what they told me to do and he just kicked me

BTW: they hunt anyone that is kicked from the guild i learned that from the gc

What I've noticed with 10-20 is that all you need to not be rushed is a hidden/good kdr and some decent vanities, I've had several secret alts and that's my best advice to you and other people starting the level. Making friends and joining a guild also helps.

I have played against ez. most of the people in it team you and the rare goods get kicked its just not a good guild. Zone would be better. Yes hung I said ur guilds good.

I have had my kd hidden from the first day I made my 15 bear and I haven't gotten rushed for having a hidden kd so far

I agree with joining level 51 pvp, it is a lot friendlier although you may come across some 56 rushers, but there are so many pvpers at this level who are more than delighted to help you do better..I tried 15 pvp too, it's not nice hehe
One thing to remember is that there has never been a rule against rushing it is FFA after all, so although most of us don't like it, just put up with it and try to defend yourself..you may even pwn them some day!

Im a 3 year veteran as well. The post wasn't meant to be nice it was meant to tell the truth. In regards to your experience at level, you may have ran into some jerks who pvp at level 10-19

Level 35+ PvP is not really my thing because of all the dodge and luck factors involved, but I'm pretty sure if any decent 15-20 PvPer went, he'd do just fine because of his honed knowledge of 8 and 12m.

Also, as I said before, level 12-20, and especially level 15, is probably the most populated level out of any, bar endgame. You're definitely more likely to run into a fair share of bad apples, but there are many truly skilled PvPers down here too.

@Romantica So when our level gives off a bad experience, that makes our level bad and unskilled at other PvP, but if other higher levels give off a bad experience, it's automatically the fault of crappy level 15 players? That's horrible logic.

I'm the self proclaimed father of trees and I declare that they are your best friend vs teamers/rushers. Outsmart them if you can't take them head-on. (Honestly at level 15 you do not have too many abilities to work with so if trees aren't enough, then just leave.)

EDIT: While some say that low level pvp is extremely toxic and terrible (it is), all pvp levels are like that. "Rushers" and "go" will not go away until new game elements are implemented. Again, everyone STOP the generalizations and assumptions about certain pvp levels. They're almost all the same. Think ASSUME: it makes an [donkey butt] out of U and ME!

Personally, I love rushing. I never rush when it goes about in a 2v1/3v1 however, always in a 1v1 type of manner. A 1v1 FFA is a true test of skill, but 2v1 kinds of stuff is really lame. Teaming on one person just to feel "glory" and "respect" is not cool, and defines someone without sportsmanship.

This is the most significant piece of information that you've shared. My advice to you is to stop complaining and man up. If you're gonna ruin people's pvp experience by rushing, expect to get teamed and trash talked to.

The funny thing is gezus isn't such a great rusher and isnt all that good. After seeing your posts, I went into the jungles of lvl15pvp to put you to the test. Even after taking a long break from lvl15 pvp, I managed to keep killing you with talons, sniper helm, lvl10 purp iron pjs , and a lvl10 purp sled. And he says he doesn't have the best pvp gear but when I see him after killing in my pro pjs, he's carrying around a fbow. Idk bout you but you have top gear yet you have trouble killing a person in pjs.

No, that is not me at all. Teaming random people is not how I roll.

I do, however, believe that there is a time and a place for teaming. For example, on my main (51 bird) It's not uncommon for me to see a 56 glyph bear rushing a character below level 50. The character below level 50 will repeatedly ask politely that the bear stops rushing him. The bear usually responds with something like, "If you don't wanna be rushed, leave the arena." In such cases I then ask the bear if he could stop rushing him. Most times he'll respond with, "lol" or something else indicating he has no intention of stopping. In such cases, I grab my 56 bear and begin teaming the other bear.

The above scenario is what I believe to be justice. People can't expect to hypocritically rush (why didn't he rush anyone else?) and then hide behind the excuse of "it's an arena" all in order to get free kills at the expense of another player's pvp experience. If this were Halo, it might be a different story, but this is not halo. I don't like bullies, and I never have. If teaming is what it takes to stand up for the little guys, then that's what I'll do. (Also note that before teaming I usually try reasoning with the guy doing the rushing. I give them fair warning before teaming them.)

I would have to disagree with this. If you've ever been a 35 bird getting rushed by a voodoo Mage, you'll understand where I'm coming from.

Yeah.. Idk why but people are always like "akanub you're not pro stop thinking you are" I never say I'm pro ever I just want to learn this is why I'm rushing I feel its the best way to improve and it hasn't failed me so far I've killed some pretty well known pvpers and this is all in a couple days of PL gaming expierence maybe I'm out of place here but I feel people should rush at the start it makes you improve rapidly, For example: In Arcane Legends I started out about 700/2k and my kdr is now 24k/6k but AL is much different from PL

I would have to disagree with this. If you've ever been a 35 bird getting rushed by a voodoo Mage, you'll understand where I'm coming from.

Don't blame the player, blame the game. If you're going to play an under used meta class, then be sure to have an OP class at hand to deal with rushers.

No, that is not me at all. Teaming random people is not how I roll.

I do, however, believe that there is a time and a place for teaming. For example, on my main (51 bird) It's not uncommon for me to see a 56 glyph bear rushing a character below level 50. The character below level 50 will repeatedly ask politely that the bear stops rushing him. The bear usually responds with something like, "If you don't wanna be rushed, leave the arena." In such cases I then ask the bear if he could stop rushing him. Most times he'll respond with, "lol" or something else indicating he has no intention of stopping. In such cases, I grab my 56 bear and begin teaming the other bear.

The above scenario is what I believe to be justice. People can't expect to hypocritically rush (why didn't he rush anyone else?) and then hide behind the excuse of "it's an arena" all in order to get free kills at the expense of another player's pvp experience. If this were Halo, it might be a different story, but this is not halo. I don't like bullies, and I never have. If teaming is what it takes to stand up for the little guys, then that's what I'll do. (Also note that before teaming I usually try reasoning with the guy doing the rushing. I give them fair warning before teaming them.)

Because I don't team others except in very rare scenarios, this hypothetical situation of yours is very uncommon. But to answer your question, yes. When someone is teaming me, I generally ask why and then they tell me why. If it turns out to be a misunderstanding, we sort it out. It actually doesn't take that much effort.

People like to be treated fairly, and that's how I treat them.

I only just saw this, but heres some tips. Rushers will always be there, either cry or buy a face . Also most of my guild and I hunt <ez>. Leave it. Either don't be in a guild or join a real guild. Don't look like an idiot, if u got any wear some decent vanities, people also seem to not rush people who are wearing regalia/partyhat/coin etc

I rush gem regalia bears I rush party hat bears ive rushed alien mirage birds, bears, mages. Nothing is going to keep you safe from rushers except skill. I learned that the hard way
