1 H/S = 1 health regen.
It is better than 8 health regen!

Both lol. I made a set with all health or mana regen equip and pet and it works well when combined. By themselves not too much tho.

I think OP is unsure whether +8 health regen = 8 health per second as it usually does not specify (i.e the passive description for flapjack). It could be 8 health per minute for all he knows while the 1 H/s is pretty clear.
