View Full Version : Best Pet for BOSS fights

I need to level a new pet for BOSS fights for PVE for my Warrior (lvl 41).
A pet that really helps in defeating HELENA and URSOTH.
What are your top picks?
Samuel (can't afford)
Orion (it's one of my favorite Sorcerer's pet)
Slag (it's a beast at lvl 41, But also one of my Sorcerer's pet and not warrior)
Abaddon (mine is only lvl 32)
Grim?
Ribbit? (doesn't seem to offer enough for BOSS battles)
Ethyl (mine is still only lvl 17, doesn't seem very powerful yet)
Thoughts please!!!!!!!
Abaddon, the armor and gnarly passive will help you mow through bosses.

My Abaddon is currently level 32, so if I level him to 40, will there be a noticeable difference in boss battles?

Depends on your warrior's stats. You may want to try Kelvin for the fantastic stun in the AA.

Abaddon will get a new passive ability when you level up him to 40.

OK, well here is my warriors stats if that helps.
Plus Passives: 5 Mights, 5 Damage, 5 Agility, 5 knowledge
Maybe it's time to respec?

PS: how do u got green androids?

In a boss.. fight...
Depend on boss and your party...
If u r running map with 3 dps then use ribbit or gyrm..
Both good for warrior stat..and both have crit aa so they are good for your party...
Other wise...
I use prance in front of some boss.....
Like arcana elite and...
Redantail elite...
Because u have to use max armor with max healt bonous in fron of them

Because without ussing ..
Prance and a shield...
Arcanr can take u In one shot.. if u got stun by her web.
So my sugestion is to level up prance..
Because he has good stat bonous with..
Good stunn capacity...
Ribbit or grimm for mobs and prance or dovabear for boss

I beat Ursoth with a good dps rogue ( using bow ) and another tanker, ( we 3v1 ).
BTW I was using tanking gear ( Level 31 mythic, full ) and grimm

best pet for boss fights are Ribbit and grimm!
1)Ribbit provides fast critical buff to whole party, which is very necessary to bring down that insane Hp of boss and trust me its much better than gyrm..
2) Grimm is very useful because of armour reduction and dodging boss attacks ( as it has speed)
these two are affordable, among the best pets for boss.. also kelvin is good for stun!
i highly recommend one person in party to use ribbit at boss, its seriously very good!

I like to use on the boss fights ribbit and haze and on some bosses with hard red attacks I use Kelvin for the stun :)

Warrior should use Little Bear to get tanky stats and provide a hp+armor buff for himself and teammates. Dps can use Gyrm and/or Ribbit for crit buff. One can use Abbadon, Grimm or Slag because of their nice passives (last two also occasionally stun).

Use..
Ribbit.
Gyrm both in party..
And a grimm
And for stun pet u can use slag
These 4 pets combo crit boss down very fast
