Brain-freeze icebolt staff

So I made lvl 50 two days ago and am finding gear to be very confusing. Like weapons have procs or do special things but only way to find out is search through the forum. One weapon I'm very confused about is the "green ice" staff. The only difference I can see in game is that the green one adds like 2 dps over the blue one based on stats. The blue one I can buy for like 10k but I have to spend almost 100x that for the green one. What am I missing.

I am finding that missing information on gear can be very annoying when trying to decide if a pink is worth putting up for auction. I could just be missing something. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The green Ice version is a collecter's item and is extremely rare, with an annoying and difficult boss, thus making it so expensive and rare.

So get the normal version. No one forces you to buy the expensive stuff.

Are you sure about that Fyrce? Last I heard, The mob hit Pocket Legends. They scare noobs into buying overpriced items now. *cough*
