Hardcoure, the White Holoshield was given out as an extra reward-incentive for those who reserved their names for Star Legends when it first came out - the price was 50 Platinum.
Later, the Crimson Holoshield became available, I believe, as a Daily Deal item for 50 Platinum as well. The Christmas Tree vanities probably came out simultaneously as part of a Vanity Holiday Pack for Platinum deal.

No you're right. There's two of them. Both are black and white but one has more black than white and the other has more white than black on it. Both were awarded for tournaments hosted by STG.
