Reached my goal at last

I recently finished my personal goal for PL and figured I'd share it with all you PL forumers. It took a while but I finally made it.

When the new caps stopped coming out, I realized I needed a goal in order to have more fun with PL. I don't like PvP, so instead I made up something to do in PvE. Here is what I decided to go for:


Two types of character for each class: "pure" and "hybrid"
All characters capped
All possible quests completed on all characters
Different looks for each character made up of rare vanities and different weapons


I managed to slog through all the quests that were possible for every character. I created most of the characters this cap, so the 2- and 3-piece ring quests couldn't be done, but I did go through all the others. Oh how much fun it was doing those frozen nightmare and cyber quests over and over....

I used the following builds for my characters:

Bear
Fusionstrike - str/dex hybrid
Paroxysms - pure dex

Bird
Tuftedcrow - pure dex
Palanquin - dex/str hybrid

Mage
Torchieblane - pure int
Moxiepad - int/str hybrid

Fox
Vulpinestrike - pure dex
Fantasticfox - dex/str hybrid

Rhino
Counterpunch - str/int hybrid
Crumplefist - pure str

I knew I wanted to have all five dragon sets represented in my outfits. I also wanted to use my PL 2- and 3-year shields as well as my weapons from ichor farming (oh the torture to get those...). I rounded out my wardrobe with other vanities I had on hand like angel, centurion, alien and starry armors. See my sig for all my characters decked out in their finest.

I'm glad to say I finally made it, just in time for my 3-year anniversary on PL. It took a while but has been worth it going through the many challenges PL has to offer.

My data spidy sense is going crazy atm, can't resist posting the following

760 levels,
Around 2,380,890 xp (excluding previous caps),
And ~2120 quests done. 10k pelts and snowballs, incredible man.

Kudos on 3 years PL as well, think I should have my red shield around this time, too.

May I ask why you didn't go full str with bear?

I debated about which stat to do for my pure bear. Pure str chars just hit so wimpy, and I knew I'd be doing a pure str rhino, so I went with dex on bear just because I thought I'd die of boredom having to raise another all-str char doing no damage for 76 levels.

Well, I'm not really sure which one took the most time/effort, but just as far as enjoying the journey I think the toughest was the str rhino. I'm just not a big fan of doing low damage. Also, it's hard doing the BSM quests like elite dragon with a rhino given how many players out there annoyingly kick rhinos on sight.

Yeah I'm not sure what to do next. I suppose I could try to collect the rare weapons I don't have yet, but that's just a matter of throwing money around (and not getting scammed in the process), which doesn't sound like all that much fun to me. I could go back and make some weird novelty builds like int bird or something, but I'm not sure how excited I can get for another character leveling fest.
