wow :O you already have them! thats nice. and yeah they got "buffed" but im still seeing one handers as the better choice :/ not impressed imo.

From what I have seen the 2hander sword now does more dps than a 1 hander +shield, and thats just from looking at the swords in the shops. I have yet to get a 2 hander to drop.

Comparing a two hander sword to a bow (which produces best dps in game) is like apples to oranges. If you were to compare 2hander with 1hander+shield you would see a HUGE difference. Before the 1hander had double the dps. Now the 2hander has a little bit more dps.

yeah i mean ive only been able to compare with 1 sword, (conq croc spine) and it was still WAY lower than my sword and board. although i havent seen these new swords.

Incorrect! Notice I'm an Archer with all my stats in Dex.
That's why the dps isn't so bad.
But put them on a warrior and sword and shield still cracks more dps.
But I'm sure these will give a nice killing blow.
However dps + 18 armor is what I would choose.

I'd still say the 2H are now simply less inferior to the 1H + Shield combo, not superior. The shield combo brings in more advantages to a warrior in the end IME (In my experience)

Shields are better for warriors, because warrior are meant to be Tanks. Tanks aren't supposed to dish out the damage. We're supposed to take damage to protect the squishy members of the party. Let the Crocs dull their swords against our steely fur! :) Epimetheus is a Tank. He tried a two-hander back around lvl 15, but I didn't care for it. When I want maximum DPS, I'll play my archer.

That said, if you want to play Conan the Bear, then have fun! Just keep in mind that you're playing a non-optimal build. :)

What u aren't seeing is that in pvp 2h are gonna be the way to go. They already hit like a truck they will own when they crit. See pvp is about bust dmg and thoose two handers will do burst. I belive the devs were fixing two handers for pvp. And my lil supportress can be 1shot with one of thoose if it crits. :)

Players have a lot more armor than monsters, hitting a monster for 300 wouldnt hurt a player for 300. 2her's wont one shot anyone :)
