Free camera view

Please add free camera view so that you can look straight forward. Would improve the game.

Agreed. I would also like to be able to lock the camera behind my character for a true 3rd person view.

problem is that the more that is on the screen, and so processing in the iphones tiny processor, the slower it gets. i hear devs see that if horizon is viewable, it is a snailspace.

That makes sence. Though the high end phones are getting much faster. The iPhone 4 has a pretty beefy processor and the new Terga 2 Android phones are just around the corner. I can see a very high quality option enabling this.

Yes, we lock the camera for performance reasons. We eventually need to look into taking advantage of more powerful devices.
