how to make cool signatures??

can someone give me a quick tutorial on how to make cool signatures with their character(s) and level with a background? also say which free programs i need. help will be much appreciated thanks

Honestly, there are several programs, but the decent ones are paid.

Try Photoshop CS5, I think they still offer a 60 day trial.

More than the program, i think you have to be quite familiar with how to use them. Sigs like mysticals and arterras are self-made i think, but im pretty sure they're good with photoshop too.

You can ask them nicely i believe, and if they're in the mood and have time :p

I'd say take a screenshot, download Photoshop trial, install & open it, watch YouTube for some basic tutorials, fail, fail some more, watch another tutorial, finally make an awesome sig for yourself.

Basically it's all about cutting layers and sticking then together the way you like, after just throw some overlays into the mix or adjust the coloring to preference.
