lvl 10 twink dex bear adivce...

Hey guys. This is my first post here. I'm brand new to twinks and pvp........

I made a dex bear today and it looks like this....

I started with a str bear and hated it. This guy seems to be doing alright. Is there any certain gear I should be on the lookout for? I'd like to find the best armor and helm for the situation.

So far, I'm not really liking the pvp thing that much. It's either all noobs who quit after 2 deaths, level 15's who kills me over and over (at least I get to play for a while), or a decent low level twink who quits and rejoins every time I get the upper hand. I think this would change if I could get a friends list going with some fun players!

Well for armor I would've suggested the Xmas gear, so unless you picked it up before WF ended, then I guess get frosty plat armor if you want THE BEST... The launcher is good as a purp, pinks are definitely best (they differ by 2 dps). Helm is interchangable at this level. In my opinion, the best pvp level would be 15, but the most action is at lvl 19-20.

Btw: 16 int could be 11 for the mana regen, the rest into dex.

First respec,

All dex (bears need as much hit% as possible)

Go to ozz in forest haven, and buy a theifs natural leather (hp regen) or a frosty leather (mana regen) it depends which you want, but I choose nature for the extra hp. Buy a burglar's archery hat for the mana regen.

Launcher is good, but I prefer tinsel talon/peppermint wing.

This build will win most 1 vs 1, but isn't very durable against teams (but then again, no twink is very good with teams)

The fight;

If fighting a str bear;

Buff with rage, keep your distance; your launcher should do the killing. If he gets close enough to hit you with melee auto-
attacks, do crippling, vengful slash, and then stomp and repeat the launcher.

If fighting anything else (mage/bird/dex or int bear), buff rage, get as close as possible to them while freezing them with your launcher, and do the same combo as above, your gun will freeze enough to catch up after stomp. This strategy is a little more in the face of your opponent, but done right is a killer.

Let me know if you want the talon combo, same skills and stats, just a different strategy. And the people, just gotta live with em, they're everywhere in low/high lvl pvp.

Thanks for the advice so far. I grabbed the theif's natural leather for the hp gain. When building I put just enough into intelligence to get 1 regen, leaving me with 32 dex. My helm boost dex by one allowing me to wield the launcher (it's pink by the way). I maxed out stomp and put the rest into rage. At first I had it spread a little further but I'm liking this right now. I keep my distance from str bears and stomp if they happen to get close. Against staff/bow toons I stay in close and stomp every chance.

I actualy found a few good games so far, so that's nice. Thanks again for the advise! Keep it coming!

Little update...

Went full dex and It's great! The 1 m/s wasn't necessary. I realized without it, I still never even came close to using half my mana, even if I lived the entire match. Dying, of course, is a great way to replenish. Am I crazy or is there a very small amount of regen even when regen is 0?

The 1% hit percentage is probably going to make no difference at all but the armor and dps is a plus for sure! I still have my skills the same but I'll end up changing it around one day. I've found some good games and fought some really good lvl 10 twinks. The most fun games ever are me vs. 2 or 3 noobish players. It ends up being pretty fair in the end.
