Oh, well....My affinity for blades has my damage around 700+ and my previous guild I spent too much time helping lower lev members with lower maps my kills is deceptively low vs my experience.

Was hoping to find an elite guild cuz puglife is not fun at the times I play.

Well, our good and fellow officers have put together the first PvP contest in guild history. :)

We think it's in line with the changed focus of this game. I wouldn't say it's all about PvP now, but PvE has been largely neglected for a long time, except during events (if we count them as PvE). So, we are going to have a DUEL CONTEST and a PVP WEEK in Enigmatic.

Rules and details about the contest will be up soon, most likely tomorrow, but you can write here or pm any of the officers, if you want to participate, and you can start now. We will write down your names, the goal is to have around 30 people participating (32 being the best case scenario, or 64 of course but I doubt we have that many people).

As Candy already said, prize pool is expected to be around 7 million. Everyone, who participates, will earn some gold. Even those, who lose in Round 1. If you are scared that your Duel KDR will get worse, don't be. I have negative duel kdr and we don't really care about this actually.

Along with this, if there is enough interest, we are planning to do some other PvP stuff in the coming days. Get the Trulle ap for anyone who still hasn't got it. Fill some CTF rooms and get the easy flag aps (1 and 10). Do some friendly fights. Do some real Capture The Flag, if you want - it's actually a lot of fun in other games, but no-one plays it here, so why not try it. Or just roam around CTF/TDM, if you'd like. I repeat - if there is enough interest in all this.

p.s. Most of the contest is scheduled to take place during the weekend (plus Friday most likely), so plan accordingly.

Quick update and a welcome new officer!

Nice work on the duels, I have seen many of you enjoying this contest and if you want can be hosted again! The officers are here to plan events to further build friendships within the guild. Speaking of contests, I have wind of a guild lottery being planned. How would you like to throw in a small amount to a pool and have the chance to earn a prize? Discussions are still happening, and I don't want to give it all away, but hit up your officer Ami for details as he is the lead on making this happen for Enigmatic.

The officers are aware of some inactivity in their core and have been voting in some new people to step up and help lead the ship. There are a few names on the table, but the first one has been promoted today. Please welcome Erza to the officer line-up, I had the pleasure of logging on for his promotion. He is a PvP guru and is there if you need anything. One of his best qualities is being very fair and if you happen to stumble upon anything that needs some mediation, or a friend to talk to, please feel free to hit him up in game. If you are wondering how officers are promoted, well it's not an exact science. We ofc look for guild loyalty and people that are most imporant... ACTIVE! All the officers have a good understanding of game mechanics and are willing to help and assist with runs and whatever happens to come up. The last step is voting them in. We do take a vote in officer LINE and speak to that person before promoting.

Hope everyone is having a safe and happy week both IRL and in Arlor, and continue on their quest for spendor and fun within the game together. If you have any suggestions on future guild events, want to lead a night of trivia or guild hall games, or anything else please feel free to drop Tat or your officers a line. We are here for you!

I am seeing a lot of feedback on the forums about arcane weapons and I know some of you have them in the guild. Can someone please post here SPECIFICS on them and actually test them? Not 'the stats suck'. I have always preferred daggers to bow and they have always been less dmg and higher dps and they work with their proc. Also give more HP so you can get in close range when using them. Should also give you a little more lasting time in PvP. How are they working out? Curious to hear!!!

Prize pool is 1m now and still increasing. I think next time we should randomize more than once. Maybe 500k - 1m/random.
Ex: prize pool from 0 - 995k => 1 random
from 1m - 1.495m => 2
from 1.5m - 1.995m => 3
...
If prize pool is 1.8m and your name comes up twice, you will win 1.2m.

I agree with this.
Really for a first run its gone pretty well.
We welcome ideas to make this a better concept.
The point is to keep everyone interested and excited, multiple winners could only help that.
However, at 5k per entry, its a pretty good return without having risked much.
Anyone can make 50k pretty quickly farming crates. If you get 5 or 6 crates, you've paid for the elixir and maximum number of entries.

Like Tata said, we werent sure how well received it would be, so this the beta for our lottery.
Now that we see what is possible, I think it can only get better.

I know that everyone in our guild is up there legitimately and that we don't harbor any of those pesky botting players. Few things folks. I will be playing for expansion casually so expect to see me running time-permitting. If you haven't gotten on to get your FREE mythic helm and armor please do so ASAP. It is quite easy and ask in chat how to get this accomplished. For rogues I am positive it is superior to Glintstone so don't pass this up. Secondly, everyone has new skill masteries and a set of respec scrolls. I would like to see more dialogue in LINE regarding what you are choosing for spec and what you discover is working for your class. I have yet to see anyone discuss this change and as a whole we need to make sure everyone is on the same page.

If you are logging on and standing around I am going to be asking what you are doing. This is the time for you to farm both jewels and locked. I am ill that people were asking for parties and not getting them in this guild. I will not have that here. We have always been and will remain a helpful guild to anyone who wants to run. That INCLUDES warriors.

If you do not know me please say hi, I am nice. However, I have zero and I mean ZERO tolerance for stuff like not helping and excluding people from runs. If I see that you will get one warning and if I hear of it again I will personally remove you from this guild. Also, take it easy on nonsense in guild chat. Nobody is perfect, so if you have a squabble work it out and move on. No need to keep reminding people of past things that have been said or done. We are all human and need to work together as a team. Utilize this time to refresh yourself running and learning your class better than before. Expansion is upon us and we will press hard to cap together. Be ready for some tough new elites and lots of great farming once again.

We have discussed the masteries. The rogue ones are useless for pve imo. I am not planning on using any of them and will most likely add another skill at lvl 56, and maybe even speed passive.

All in all, you have to receive something really cool in order to even consider putting 10 skill points into a mastery. I'm not sure that's the case right now.

Hey all! Egg hunt is up! This looks to be a nice way to farm up some free gold so do take advantage. You know elites are around the corner and gets pricey with ankh and lix that we use. The loot on golden eggs is nice and you will have plenty of time to craft them up. Guild has noticed arena is good spot for red eggs which also has the recipe for crafting the golden ones. Party up. Hello all.

As some of you may have noticed, I took a short break. I logged on a couple times the last few days and all I saw is huge inactivity, which applies to the whole game (judging from my friend list). Now, I realize these are hard times for AL, there's literally nothing to do. However, I'm sure there are a lot of people who still enjoy the game and want to keep playing.

In light of all this, I have decided it's time for some changes in guild.

1. I will demote all recruiters who are still level 46 and have not provided a good reason why they aren't capping.

2. I will demote (to member) all officers who I know are inactive.

3. Regarding all members who are hanging around doing nothing (which is what most people are doing right now) while a fellow member is repeatedly asking for help in guild chat - I will keep track of such behaviour and it will not be tolerated.

4. There will be new promotions in the very near future. The number of people promoted will depend among other things on the number of people demoted. Requirements for recruiter remain the same - you must apply. If no-one applies, there will be no new recruiters.

5. I am bringing democracy to a new level. All members and recruiters are allowed to nominate one person (member or recruiter) for promotion to officer. I will need detailed reasoning why you nominate the person; things like "I like him", "she is my friend" etc. will not count and I will disregard your nomination. The nominee must be active, helpful, well geared and good enough in English. If you think there is such a person in guild, who deserves to be an officer, pm me here, in Line or in game. If there is no such person, there will be no promotion, of course. Deadline is end of this month.

p.s. One more thing. You may or may not have seen the new NPC, who can tell you your elite aps count (Brackenridge mobs and bosses, Ydra, Nordr and so on). It's a smurf fella in Guild Castles (not Guild Hall). Since we now know our progress, we can arrange parties and do these aps. I myself will be doing this the next few weeks among other things, and I expect others to do it too.
