<Enigmatic> Elite PvE Farm Guild

Hello all.

As some of you may have noticed, I took a short break. I logged on a couple times the last few days and all I saw is huge inactivity, which applies to the whole game (judging from my friend list). Now, I realize these are hard times for AL, there's literally nothing to do. However, I'm sure there are a lot of people who still enjoy the game and want to keep playing.

In light of all this, I have decided it's time for some changes in guild.

1. I will demote all recruiters who are still level 46 and have not provided a good reason why they aren't capping.

2. I will demote (to member) all officers who I know are inactive.

3. Regarding all members who are hanging around doing nothing (which is what most people are doing right now) while a fellow member is repeatedly asking for help in guild chat - I will keep track of such behaviour and it will not be tolerated.

4. There will be new promotions in the very near future. The number of people promoted will depend among other things on the number of people demoted. Requirements for recruiter remain the same - you must apply. If no-one applies, there will be no new recruiters.

5. I am bringing democracy to a new level. All members and recruiters are allowed to nominate one person (member or recruiter) for promotion to officer. I will need detailed reasoning why you nominate the person; things like "I like him", "she is my friend" etc. will not count and I will disregard your nomination. The nominee must be active, helpful, well geared and good enough in English. If you think there is such a person in guild, who deserves to be an officer, pm me here, in Line or in game. If there is no such person, there will be no promotion, of course. Deadline is end of this month.

p.s. One more thing. You may or may not have seen the new NPC, who can tell you your elite aps count (Brackenridge mobs and bosses, Ydra, Nordr and so on). It's a smurf fella in Guild Castles (not Guild Hall). Since we now know our progress, we can arrange parties and do these aps. I myself will be doing this the next few weeks among other things, and I expect others to do it too.

We are currently OPEN for new members. If you are looking for a farming guild that is PvE focused, this might be the place for you. Check on page 1 to make sure that you meet the minimum requirements before asking to join. After a few runs in the new elites I can say they are ok. However, the one hits out of nowhere and the nonexistent loot make them a not so pleasant experience. Kinda not what I hoped for, to be honest.

Anyway, map 1 is definitely the easiest and I think it's doable even in not very well geared parties. Make sure you bring a tank, and that tank should have a pve build and preferably a pve weapon (aegis still rocks, but probably some of the newer pve weps will do too). With all that said, we will do our test runs in this map for the time being.

My thoughts on what to farm currently:

Jewels -- make some gold and upgrade own equips without starting with a fortune (Shuyal and up)
Beast Essences -- Stampy (Elite Rengol 3)
Planar Fragments -- Breeze and Stampy (Planar Tombs)
Underhul -- more normal than elite, for jewels, drops (pray for super rare item), coins

On a brighter note, our guild's 2 year birthday is approaching. We will have a big party some time around the end of next week. It would be nice to have it on the 28th, but that's a Thursday, so we may move it to the weekend. Expect details soon.

We will also have a guild contest, which will start some time next week. I can tell you right now, that we are planning on a big prize pool, over 10m for sure.

In light of this, we have decided to change guild leadership. Our new GM is Amicusdei - one of the longest serving and most loyal members and officers of the guild. He has my full support and I am sure the guild will thrive with him in charge.

Our recruitment remains closed for the time being. We will re-open when we all hit the new cap and have a clear idea of the new gear and stats. Follow Sakurab's guidelines on the matter.

Also a big thanks to Squeezable, the person in charge of our thread design. As you know, he quit the game and left us his stuff. Some of it was used as rewards at the party, some will be used in future contests.

If you meet req at lvl 61 our doors are open :) i can give you few tips how to join faster.
Be sure you have APS. Its always needed to join endgame guilds. Not only enigmatic. Work on PvE kills.
Save money so you can get some decent jewels, gear and pet.

What do you mean by super stuff ?

Exceptions are rarely made , but they can happen depending on the situation.

If your problem is that you don't have enough PvE kills we will need to see how far you are from reaching the required and if other aspects can contribute to it .

Well I'm just here to tell you guys that I will no longer be playing Arcane Legends- I'm retiring from the game for good.

I am forever grateful that I was a part of this guild for more than 1 1/2 years, truly. And you know what, Enigmatic is the longest guild that I've ever been with! And still am a part of it. Enigmatic has made me feel like home. And here is where I met and made wonderful friends who treated me like I'm their family.

It was because of you guys I learned how to be a better mage and how to run elite maps. Before Enigmatic, I barely run the elite maps because I don't have friends to run with. I usually ended up with randoms... and then they left in the middle of the run. I don't know the pulls, the tips and tricks. I don't know what the heck I was doing. I had zero, nada knowledge. Even now, I'm still a noob hehehe. But you guys taught me almost everything that I needed to know. So thank you for having me in this guild.

Thank you Candy & FadedTwo (I know they're not gonna read this but anyway-), fellow officers Aabzie, Sakurab, Tata, Mith, Root, Tipsy, Stacey, Valk, Azi/Dree and others for believing in me to become a recruiter and then an officer like you guys. Greetings Arlorians!

Some exciting things are brewing in Enigmatic. We decided to have a hug it out session yesterday and put a lot of things on the table that had been going on. First of all I want to address the Leaderboards. They are cool but not everything. They provide a single weekly snapshot of membership and achievement. Yes we had a revolving door yesterday and it's possible we might drop off for a week but seriously who cares. Feel free to join elsewhere if that is your priority.

Secondly we are changing recruiting. Thank you for all of the good ideas shared among everyone. There will no longer be any test runs, we will allow people to join who have infamous title and are capped. Also, all current members who are active will be promoted to recruiter. Sounds like Dark is putting together a nice contest for the recruiters, stay tuned on this!

Speaking of farming- Everyone in Enigmatic needs to be working on their rank so you can farm the deepest mauso levels. Don't let this pass you up. Please spend an hour a day and you will breeze through those ranks. Spam guild chat for a party!

And finally, Welcome back Tat and Myself. Tat will be busting to gear back up and you will see me hitting the trails until I cap. We are happy to be in Arlor and among family. Thank you everyone and see you in Arlor!!!

Thank you. I was called in to help out with the guild, which took all of 5 minutes they just needed some words of encouragement.

Nobody was kicked, there was just a mass exodus then a mass rejoin after. Sometimes that stuff has to happen to ignite a change. So officers are reflecting, improving, and putting the fun back in Arlor by loosening up the recruiting because they are outdated and does not work with the current game climate.

I haven't played in a long time I am very far behind with everything. Won't take me long though, I mean it IS just hack and slash hehe.
