Well we didn't alt last night. Man we had some weird ppl around Lol. I'm all about new players and helping but not about people begging and opening trade with us. When we recruit, please let them know in guild chat the basic rules and if they can't listen and you can see right away it's not a good fit, let an officer know so we can quickly take care of it. Never judge players by their gear or pve kills but by their ability to grasp basic social skills of being a gamer. Thanks guys and keep on recruting but being aware of who we are inviting. Friends are always welcome.

Wow we added a few new officers, members and recruiters. Our numbers are up to around 95 active players, Fade and I are so pleased with the guild and are happy to see it really start to flourish. Yes we are still recruiting, and we do ask that you go on a run with us first. We just want to make sure you are fun/helpful and a good listener. I do want to reiterate we are a PvE guild, and although it's cool you PvP on your own we don't want map runners with PvP spec. We can help you with a hybrid build, but our focus is farming and PvE.

For those of you who don't know Sirulian was hijacked last night.

He was experimenting with a necromancy curse he had recieved from Paracelsus in the guild hall when suddenly the spell took a nasty turn his body became possessed by a soul from the ethers of Arlor, a lost and forgotton Nott who once called himself, Arkanem.

However, do not fear. Sirulian is suspected to still be, "in there somewhere", or at least that what Paracelsus said when questioned about the nature of the spell and a possible cure.

Sadly, there is no known counter spell to the curse he was playing with, so until further notice please familiarize yourself with his new identity, I'm sure you'll get along just fine. huhuhu~

Yes thanks all who participated... i know the AL server DC problems sure haven't helped... let's hope that when new client and arena comes that these 120k ping DC's are a thing of the past because it seems they have no idea what the problem is and / or don't know what to do about it. We'll get something else going soon depending on what happens with the arena release.

Anyhow we are growing and attracting many great players so as always keep up the good work and remember we are selective in who we want to play with. Having a big guild isn't our goal... having a good one full of strong independent elite endgame players is! Also we don't mind pvp but we are primarily a pve guild. When it comes to pvp you can follow whatever rules you think work best!

To all the recruiters,

Fade will promote you if you are active and we see you online in the guild. We aren't super picky or exclusive with recruiting, and if you have friends that want to join and you can vouch for them then yes go ahead and invite them. However, we do get a lot of people we don't know that spam and say 'invite me to the guild'. Let me reiterate some basic recruiting to everyone.

(1) Level 40+ only
(2) PvE oriented and must be aware of that before entering the guild. PvP is OK but it's on your own.
(2) Nubs are fine. Bad gear and low PvE kills too, all OK. HOWEVER. Please make sure the person is has positive attitude, plans to be active in the game, and is interesting to talk to. Spend a moment to speak to the person before inviting. If they are unresponsive then don't invite. Take them on an elite run, use Kraken or Wilds.
(3) They should have a basic understanding of the game. This means they are well enough into arcane legends to use a pet. If someone doesn't know how to summon or use a pet please don't invite.
(4) No history of scamming.
(5) No in and out. Fade and I have a list of all people who have been in <Enigmatic> and have quit. You get a one time pass to come back, then it's done. We don't take the in and out, we aren't a McDonalds drive through, we are looking for players who can commit and seek longevity in a guild.

Most of the people who want to join we should be saying YES to. However, if you meet the rare person you KNOW isn't a good fit then learn how to say no to them. The best way is with kindness. Here is an example: " Thank you for the run, but I see you aren't quite ready for our elite PvE farming guild. Please check back with us in a few weeks for another run." Then offer to help them in the future, and stay good to those words.

We dislike removing people from the guild and try to avoid, so again use your wise judgment before inviting.

I hope this helps and encourage all of you to continue recruiting by talking to your friends on your friend list, and responding to people who inquire to us. Don't go spamming towns or random people, we want to keep our guild small and tight-knit always.

Yeah, to me that's the biggest issue with AL: if you're gonna buy plat, you'd better spend hundreds or it won't do anything good for you. Spending 10-20$ casually once in a while is just waste. I'm a student and can't afford to spend hundreds of dollars on a video game, so I just end up not buying any plat. Lame.

Recruitment is open, please keep inviting your friends. Also, be proactive in running them in elites when they join. Be sure they feel welcome and get to know the other members in our guild.

Last, we do keep track of who quits the guild. You get a one time pass to come back then it's done. I will remove anyone I see back in the guild who has been in and out. We seek longevity in our members, not those who jump ship the second the game gets slow. Let's face it, most of us are seeking to farm Arena and yeah haven't been super excited to run elite Tind all the time. That's OK! Once Arena drops <Enigmatic> will be all over that place. I can't freaking wait for the client to come!!!!!

How is everyone doing? We ran some 7 min trail runs last night! Lots of totems, decent farming. Finally got back after a little two day hiatus. Sounds like today Sam is posting up some new Arena information like what day it's released, we are overdue on it for sure.

Nope no Arena and no hint as to when it will actually arrive. Tomorrow's up date is respec, PLEASE if you are a new member and new to running elites ask an officer to check your spec. This is a good time for us to help you fine tune your build. You of course have freedom to spec as you choose but we can make suggestions about what works best for elites.

We felt it was easier after the game came back up, I mean we were still plat rev'ing but not a ton except the BH + mushroom encounter. I will say that everyone who can't plat rev needs to buy Ankh from CS at this point if you want to run arena, you won't get through it any other way.

The Devs said they will continue to balance the fights, so let's keep giving constructive feedback on each one.

LMAO. Well Sera is a girl and you know we all on occasion deal with freaks in the game, so yeah. That's funny though to have in the guild rules.

It happened more than once, mostly with young teenagers. In a couple of instances, I could not log in without them being on my screen the entire time I was online (for weeks on end). Unless I was partied and in a map. If I did that, the attention shifted to my officers.

I finally had to boot them, and for months after, the stalking continued as best they could manage it (without having the convenience of the join button). It was extremely uncomfortable for everyone, and was apparently done in hopes of being noticed for promotion. But to make things perfectly clear to people with these tendencies, it was added to the guild rules over a year ago.

Prevention is the best solution in situations like that.

When I came back, the number was exactly the same so I am proud to say that we had zero plat farmers in <Enigmatic>. Page 1 updated w/ officers and recruiters, and a minor change to recruitment rules. Enigmaticians keep recruiting, and make sure to take them on a single elite run. You don't have to do Tind, use Kraken if it's a new capped player. Also, please remind them of the rules and if anyone joins and opens trade/asks for items they are going to be removed without warning. Also, the people you recruit please make sure they feel welcome and as the recruiter it's your job to get them acclimated to the guild and invited to runs. Think of your recruits as... yours. That means bringing them up to speed to the rest of the guild so we can run with them.

Arena update- Be sure to bring your Ankh, but everyone should be playing Arena by now. You will die, but it's not farming death. Using a warrior is the best way to roll, especially as you learn the encounters. The new Arena AP is easy, you don't have to kill each boss before enrage but rather just kill the boss. Once you meet all 4 with the obelisk then the AP completes and you get 'The Tranquil' title. I would like for everyone to at least play Arena until you earn this title and the AP points. Message me and Fade in game if you want to farm with us, we will be running Arena every night.
