As you all might be aware we gonna have a busy month on february with lots of elite runs. I suggest you all to analise your builds, specially in the first 2 weeks of the events (easier maps). Lets use those contests not only to get APs, but to work on our builds and gameplay.

Any goals for the weekend before the big 'Tour of Arlor' launches on Monday? I will be in Arena and doing my tombs dailies, but also watching the Super Bowl on Sunday and NOT in the game then.

I finally got my 100KILLS PvP AP, and it was actually really fun to do and I will probably work on the next one.

We got Trulle for some of you last night and we can continue to work on that AP for the rest who need it.

I think my al days are going to slow alot now. Ill prolly pick back up after exp if worth it. Im just too bored running same stuff repetively wishing luck on loots. Ive started playing order and chaos again since yesterday. I had to quit it over year ago and haven't been able to download. But now I started it up again I have to get 70 since I quit after that update. And its so much new gear and stuff I have no clue what is yet or where begin so its more interesting than al lol. As I mentioned some posts earlier, Kalizzaa event will be a good opportunity not only to try and develop ur skills as an elite player, but also for farming and making some gold.
I will share with you here some guides that might help you developing some strategies for making better runs and what you can expect as loot from each map.

This Elite Chronicles (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?147373-Elite-Chronicles-Solo-Adventures-in-the-Elite-Maps-of-Arlor) are a series of guides made by kalizzaa himself on how to solo some of the most chalenging elite maps. For the first two weeks it might not help a lot and you also might be thinking "Solo, i can easily get a PT", well, as in every guild, some of us might not be so well geared or get well geared PT and in those cases some of the strategies shared here might help a lot in making the run smooth and spending less ankhs. There is also this two great threads posted by ishtmeet:

I know that some of those Elite Maps might be difficult for some people in guild, nonetheless, you guys should aim to improve ur skills and gears in order to be able to run them as soon as possible. New expansion is coming with even more challenging maps.

If you guys want to farm in some other maps, maps that difficult goes more with your gears, Ill let you with this final guide on Elite Loot Distribution (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?111152-Guide-Legendary-Elite-Gear-Distribution). Elite Kraken has good loots and should be quite easy for you guys.

You can also aim at farming teeth and trading for Dragon Bar, selling high right now and you can farm it on normal maps, but again, you should farm on normal maps till u get decent gear, our purpose in this guild is to be an Elite Farming group.

I hope those guides help you a bit!

For Kali's Tour of Arlor:

When you are running in a party only one person will need to post up the SS of your runs. The entire party will get points as long as you are all in the SS and are wearing your guild tag. I would designate ONE person for the SS posting, and have it be someone reliable. Please do not post up duplicates, although they will be weeded out it puts a strain on the people who are inputting. This is different than the way we have run contests in the past, so please be sure you are clear on this.

* One SS will count the whole party
* All must have guild tag
* Group up for the SS, each party member must be in the SS
* You must spam the weekly word

If you can run Tombs you will be fine in the other elites. I find the Shuyal maps the most annoying because the mobs are deep, but really the bosses are a joke. Someone wanted to do elite wraith last night and we killed it by the 2nd bubble, that used to be so hard. We have some seriously good runners right now and our best strategy is to buddy up on the last 2 weeks of Kali's contest. Go 2 and 2, two experienced people and 2 people new to elites. Go slower than you would normally and then kill it! I don't know why everyone is panic'd that we won't be able to pull off the last few weeks of Kali contest in 1st, everyone that I am running with is basically OP and the ones that are not will be by the end of this month. Keep it going team!!!

On that same note, please everyone stock up on Ankh. You will die, it's OK. But be able to rev yourself. If you don't have ankh and need to save up gold to buy them, then take some time now to stash up some gold. Farm locked or eggs- that's easy gold guys and buy ankh.

Last, I want EVERYONE to get the elite egg crack AP by Sunday. All of your alts, even if you are naked. IDC. We can take you. It's THAT easy now. Please PM an officer that you need this AP still and let's knock it out of the way. We did at least 10 people yesterday on this AP! Also, if you have it and can make a good group for it please help the others get it done. No need to park the adds, just kill them fast and go nuts on the egg after.

He has double checked all of the data and you might see some slight fluctuations in the points through the weekend, it's just weeding out any duplicates. I'm still feeling like this was mainly added just to create more deaths, increase pot usage, and ultimately plat by making people buy ankhs more o.O! I understand on new maps but why they needed to back to old maps and add this in? The only answer I can come up with is to suck more gold and plat.

My only other real complaint is that when you are in a party you can't join your party in town... even if there's only two in your party o.O This always was and still is dumb. So you have to jump all over the map till you can get to your own party!

If you can run Tombs you will be fine in the other elites.
I refer mostly to the tactical elements of a run - pulls, parks, when to run and stuff like that. Run efficiency basically. I know these by heart in Tombs, but you forget other maps when you haven't run them in months. :)

Same! I can't remember why but we did an eltie shuyal map and were all forgetting which way to go. It's fun though to revisit the old maps and skill up as you run them again. Will be good for our guild too, we got some people never seen elite shuyal and nord still.

Week 1 has been extraordinarily difficult to record. With over 1,100 posts, and each post averaging about 5-6 screenshots, we have had a difficult time keeping up. I'm a mage tho, You should've seen me tanking the in tindirin wilds till the first right turn. I was tanking the whole time with my breeze (likah pruh), once we got to the left turn, i started to SNIPE like a rogue, (nic DC'ed T_T) and i was rogueing the whole time till i reached the boss (nic got online again, and he couldnt join.)

A note about gear: You may have noticed the officers are asking to see your gear in the trade window, and we are trying to pass on and make suggestions of items you can use to improve your stats. Why are we doing this? If this is going to be your first expansion, then listen up. StS makes expansions HARD HARD HARD. If your gear is low you won't be able to farm these zones for a while. The most lucrative farming is when the expansion first comes, so NOW is the time to gear up! We don't remove people, however, you will be very frustrated and want to rage quit the game if you are unable to meet these numbers on your toon. Here are the recommended stats for each class:

Warrior: 6400 HP/1900 Armor
Mage: 3300 HP/1020 Armor/515 DMG
Rogue: 3300 HP/1400 Armor/515 DMG

Also, please make sure you are using appropriate pets in elite maps. Those with Meep-Mop and Deary in their pet rotation will not get a lot of runs in elites from the guild!

Even if you are very experienced but still dont have these stats the expansion will be hard,not only for some players but for everyone.

As a elite pve guild we got all the experience necessary for every pve map in the game, but the upcoming expansion is new, maybe we will be not prepared to get everyone through all these hard maps that will come, so if you are reading this and don't have these stats let us know, pm the officers, ask friends for help, do everything to get a good gear now!

Farm hard now,and it can be a little easy in the new expansion :).

Dont know if it can help u but a rogue with mythic set is only 1360 armor... So lot of 41 rogues are 1360 armor.

To pass 1400 u have to get ring/amulet with armor which is rare on rogue (only troll necromatic, arcane ring or wild talisman are good) or to mount armor bonus in passive skill...

Best legendary sets bring 150 armor more than mythic but have lower DPS & damage...

I showed my gears to ralchior....he said i have more of armor...i got 1088 armor, due to the new gems...they arent supers tho. And yeah, let ral or me know if any mages are in need of gears,i d be happy to suggest their gems and gears required if they want to max or some what like exceed the minimum requirements.

With pet. It's just a rough guideline, try and get close doesn't need to be exact. We understand everyone has different builds and gear preferences. Mostly, we want to begin to improve our guild from bottom up and start to really look at why we have people with 2500 hp in the guild. We aren't kicking, just want to work together and raise everyone's stats before expansion. I hope that clarifies.

I am getting a lot of you guys PM me about points missed in weeks 1 and weeks 2. I have spent literally hours trying to make this right for you guys. Two things:

1. If you are missing a map because you posted one that was not valid I can't help you. I am sorry. If you are missing a map because it simply wasn't posted by someone, there is nothing I can do. Weeks 1 and 2 are closed out.

2. If your points are incorrect, but you can show me by listing the post number where it is there I will have it fixed for you. A lot of the map endings are similar! Please don't come to me saying 'I am missing Palm Rock but so and so posted it or maybe so and so'. You need to tell me the post number in the forum where it shows you ran this map.

Thank you for understanding. Your BEST BET if you want to ensure you have all maps completed is to run the entire thing at least 2 times. You never know if someone else is taking the SS that they are all 100 % valid. Also, you should be checking your maps and not waiting until the week is done.

I don't understand that... you are farming while you're running the maps to a degree... maybe not the best spots but you can still loot stuff while doing the event. If you're really good you can even pocket prizes!

One thing I notice is that in Nordr/Shuyal I'm experiencing huge lag, and I mean huge. Nothing like this in Tindirin or Tombs, which more and more leads me to believe that timers themselves have something to do with lag. Maybe it's just me, although I sincerely doubt it.

I think I've seen it once or twice, but I forgot what it looks like. It was a really popular weapon for people who couldn't afford the arcane maul. There are still some that sell for quite a lot. I didn't loot that type though :/.

Week 3 was tough for <Enigmatic> but we pushed through. You guys manned up and got through it with style! A huge thank you to the officers/members/recruiters who helped everyone and lent a hand to those new to the maps. The numbers are still being inputted but we have a good shot at being first place for Week 3!!!!

As Skip mentioned in the above post, this is a great time to self-reflect and look at your build and gear. Keep tuning up your toon, and keep practicing. Elites are tricky and if you are a new elite runner don't get discouraged, if you want to improve we are all here for you to get there.

Relax a little bit until the final week of the Tour of Arlor comes at us!!!!!!

So Why did i post the stat point chart from radagan's guide? Oh well, basically you might wanna try to consider respec'ing your currentn build. So now there are somethings to be kept in mind :P

Mage A vs Mage B

Lets say...Mage A dies alot but has a crazy DMG of 789.3 with 2,997 HP, and Mage B has a damage of 678 with a HP of 4,552. Which one would you choose? - I will choose B, as it seems to be more balanced, and seems to be alot better.

Mage's shield is something I wanna say, which would definitely help you, is this equation


(((2*str) + int)*3.5) = amount of dmg shield will absorb (taking into account the 40% dmg reduction while shield is up)

So, Basically, the shield reduces 40% of the incoming DMG with a certain amount of damage points. So if i have like 90STR and 120INT the calculation is:

(((2*90)+120)*3)
((180+120)*3)
(300)*3
900 DMG points

Alright the incoming damage from Taurus Nab is 800DMG points, so now i have 100 DMG points. And his DMG was reduced by 40%. Now, i only have 100 more...Now a mob hits with a 200 and pffft the first 100 is reduced n shield broken! But, suppose u can take 1000 dmg and a attack is the same, that doesnt mean it will absorb everything, it reduces some points for other attacks as well :P


Now, I just need to test up with Dex points and see if it ACTUALLY WORKS. I highly doubt it tho. But only use dex if you have the right gems like Grand/Normal Elondrian shards, Glacials, Wisdoms, or paracelsus's gems. Right combination will be a good choice.

We have a lot of new people joining, which is great. Please keep a few recruiting tips in mind:

1. Give them a test run. Not Wilds. Use Trail on up.

2. Inspect them. Rogues w/ 2500 HP are no.

3. Talk to them. Are they nice? Good listeners? Can they complete the entire run?

4. If you invite them to the guild extend the greetings all the way. Tell them about LINE, invite them there. Point them to the forums and encourage them to make a forum account if they don't read here.

5. If you are unsure about someone take them on 2 runs. Ask an officer to come with you! We want to say yes to people but please, don't be afraid to say no.

I wanted to express a few things to the community and our guild members. We get a lot of questions about why we aren't on the leader boards if our guild is so active and growing. It's something that we have been discussing within the core of the guild. We have done a LOT of self reflecting on this! Enigmatic was formed to be a family style guild, one that is close and helpful and doesn't push people in their toons but rather supports them in how they choose to play. Whether that is acquiring items, or improving APs, or choosing to focus on real life for a few weeks. The most important thing to us is friendship and the ability to run elite maps with skill.

With that said, we are going to do a few things here. First, RECRUITING IS CLOSED. We have decided that our family has grown enough, perhaps too much as of late. It's starting to run away from what the original intent was and that is a tight knit group of quality players who know their stuff or are willing to learn. We are going to take the time between now and expansion to continue to improve our family and current roster, as we have been doing over the last few weeks with running everyone in the elite maps in the Tour of Arlor. Also, we will be taking a closer look at who has recruiter status and making some changes to the line up. Stay tuned!!!!

i switched trap for razor recently and am not really happy with it.
i thought the frost bow proc would be an effective replacement and i wanted something more effective on bosses than the trap, but its quite good there imo, because of the slowing and bleeding.
i like the smoke for the party buff/mob debuff.
never been a fan of piercer because it sometimes puts me in a bad spot, but thats more my lack of skill than a drawback of the skill itself.
looks like i will be going back to this old faithful build, but maybe cuz i'm just used to it.

as always, any guidance or constructive suggestions are welcome.

My build:

unlock SP
4/5 Nox (skip serrated it's bugged)
4/5 Traps (skip combust)
5/5 aimed

The rest are in passives.

I do not like razor either I tried it for a while in place of traps. I found it brought a lot of aggro on me, traps are more effective because when they proc it's very useful in elites.

Your rogue crit combo: TAP aimed,nox, SP (this is very important to get the timing down!!!) I basically tap those stills in that order and then auto until they come off CD. Also, I throw traps in mobs every time I can. Veil does not stack so if you run w/ a rogue using veil you don't need two rogues to use it. I use Fade's and don't bother with it myself.

Pierce crucial for rogue imo. You can't do enough damage without pierce.

I myself prefer veil to traps, as I spend most of my time in Arena (traps useless there) and Planar Tomb 3 (not many bug pulls requiring traps).

I like to use traps everywhere, but not in arena of course,is not needed there.. And trap is needed in tomb 3 too,i think that don't matter if the pull is big or no,any amount of mobs is good to kill if they are organized, and only trap or whims (and maybe a very organized party) can do it.

Well, yeah, traps or veil is more or less a personal preference. As for tombs, since I usually run them with a tank, I find two rogues alternating veils more useful than having traps. The absence of annoying ranged mobs, who tend to scatter around the screen, also diminishes the usefulness of traps.

Plus, veil has saved me numerous times vs bosses there. Like, you know, a bomb falls on you while standing inside a veil, and you end up at 2% health. Without veil you're dead. :)
